How do yall get rid of old forklifts and other large equipment items?

When a piece of equipment has been maintained for so long and finally gives up the ghost, due to parts no longer existing or too expensive, or just sheer exhaustion of keeping them going for decades, and they’re at the point that nobody is going to give you any money for them - despite the fact that some dipshit in accounting found that people are still buying these… how do people get rid of it all?

I’ve called scrapyards and filled out their online portal forms for pickup quotes. Zero interest. Don’t even get to the point of negotiating paying to have someone take it away. I could call a rigger and pay a fortune to have them haul it away.. so they can cash in on whatever scrap value it has, but fuck that! is that where we’re at these days?

Super fun! (spoiler-free - mostly)

Given the few reviews I’ve read and all the “shoulda been another Disney+ season” discussions, I didn’t have high hopes for this.

But, this was really fun and would’ve been a waste of an entire tv season! As a 51yo, who is pretty heavily invested in the SW universe and has seen (and mostly enjoyed) every film and animated/live-action tv show, I had to let go of the recent expectations of dark/serious content and just have fun with a silly old-school Spielberg-esque caper.

I was sad to see our ScreenX theater mostly empty.. but those of us who bought tickets had a great time!

Bathroom fan recommendations..?

To all the Resi guys! I need a good bathroom fan (no light) that’s both strong (110+cfm) and somewhat loud (~1.5, 2.0 sones - more? lol). This is for the only guest bath in the house and it’s gotta evacuate shit smells fast and somewhat mask the sound of someone having a rough go at it when company’s over. 😂 But, seriously.
