Maximum transfer eligibility

The transfer page says maximum eligibility is just not already having a bachelors degree, but I read somewhere that for cas you can’t have done a third year of college already. I got rejected after 2 years of cc this fall, and am now taking 6 credits to fulfill course requirements and apply this spring. I just want to make sure I’m still eligible if anyone has gone through something similar.

No diagnosis after scope?

Has anyone who had a colonoscopy not have anything come out of it? I’ve had symptoms on and off for 2 years. Blood work, stool tests and pelvic exam too but everything always came out normal. There’s suspicion for Chrons disease but I dread that once again, everything will be normal after the scope, which would be pretty frustrating just because I’d still have no answers.

Documents for replacement

My entire bag was stolen and going to replace my license, I’ve already looking into it online but am still struggling to understand fully what is acceptable.

My passport is expired and already took the steps for renewal but it isn’t here yet, and cards stolen, so I’m wondering if I can use birth certificate for both legal presence and identity categories, or do I need two separate documents for each one

Proof of identity - birth certificate

Proof of Legal Presence- birth certificate ?

2 proofs of residency- bank statement (primary) and postmarked mail (secondary)

Proof of ssn

Should I still go through with my colonoscopy if my symptoms stopped?

I scheduled a colonoscopy months ago because I had blood in my stool and was sometimes having pain on and off for maybe the last 2-3 years. I also had a stool test and blood tests, which came back normal.

The thing is, I haven’t experienced any symptoms at all for months since I’ve had my initial appointment and scheduled the tests/procedure. Since the colonoscopy appointment is finally coming up, I’m starting to wonder if I should just cancel it because I feel fine now.

I remembered that back in March, when I had a kidney stone removed, the doctor mentioned that they were suspicious of possible Crohn’s disease. Now I’m wondering if that changes things.

I’m not exactly sure why I’m really leaning towards not going. I’m kind of scared for the colonoscopy and I fear it’ll change my body or affect me later negatively? I’m a small person and don’t want something up my butt lol. Not sure if these are misconceptions.

I know I should talk to my doctor before canceling, but I’d really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences.

Spring Transfers

Anyone who has transferred for spring terms which are significantly more competitive than fall admissions, any advice or stats?? I’d be a third year and I’m lost at how to stand out. I don’t have a car so I can’t get a job related to what I want to major in, I work at a store close to my house. I already got my associates and am taking a gap semester. Not sure if there’s something specific I should/could be doing.

Spring Transfer Housing

Does anyone have any insight about what it’s like to get housing as a spring transfer? Specifically on campus, in regard to chances of getting an offer, cost, etc.

Confused if he’s actually a narcissist or not

I’m venting but would also like insight. I think I just have to seek therapy to get the answers I need but I’m impatient. I genuinely don’t have the energy to even go into detail as the official breakup happened last night but it’s been an over two year toxic relationship with a million “breakups” throughout. “Breakups” as in make up in as little as the same exact day and no longer than a week. What I just wanted to say was that I’m confused and I can’t stop feeling guilty. I also really don’t want bias toward me just because I posted in this sub.

He is about to turn 20 and I 21. I feel guilty because there have been times where he was trying to be mature and improve the relationship. He wasn’t all bad. Our issues wasn’t cheating stuff but mainly literal dumb arguments turned verbally abusive. I find myself blanking out and not even remembering how it even got to that point. I don’t think he picked fights, but i would be upset if I was upset I guess? I keep telling myself and accepting that he was a narcissist because there are things that do match up with that sort of behaviour, but I also feel like that’s not completely right. What contributed to the final breakup was me being fed up about something and him at some point opening up the opportunity for me to talk, but I wasn’t having it. Mind you, whenever we do talk he never validates my feelings and he will stand on not having done anything wrong. But he ended up being annoyed because he gave me the floor and I stayed upset instead of just having the conversation.

On another note, he would want to sleep call every night, and eventually I proposed to stop in order to give each other space in the relationship which was perhaps something we needed since we also text basically 24/7 all day every day ( he says we dont..) At first he didn’t like the idea because he enjoyed the closeness of sleeping over the phone. This idea has been proposed before throughout the relationship before. However recently he was the one to decide to try my suggestion out since I said we needed space, and I found it hard to comply with my own suggestion because as much as I wanted space I enjoyed the closeness as well. I was surprised that he actually did want to try it out.

I’m so fucking confused. Sorry if this post doesn’t even make sense, I’m not in a good head space and this could’ve been worded better, but I’m trying to figure out if there was just no saving the relationship, if I contributed to its downfall, maybe we just weren’t compatible, maybe he’s not a narcissist because there are things about him that does match up with narcissism and also things that don’t. Ex; sex was always about pleasing me and my needs instead of him.

But nothing excuses verbal or emotional abuse. He says all the common phrases narcissists use too such as asking when he said something, telling me I’m not remembering things correctly, and I am always somehow at fault even though he says he takes blame too but I don’t see that it is as often as he makes it out to be. During these verbally abusive arguments he would use my insecurities against me and speak about how he is successful and I will never be and how I’ll regret fucking us up. Over time I stooped down to his level but I feel as if I am acting through reactive abuse, even though it is still wrong of me. But he would also put in effort or take the initiative to do something beneficial to the relationship like I mentioned earlier and these thoughts give me a hard time with guilt. It just feels like we both tried our best to keep the relationship afloat but we’re way too different. We’ve cried about how we are incompatible but that we still want to be with one another. His motto would be that if we want to be together we can work with one another instead of simply letting go when love is still there. I’m so confused. I should’ve left when the verbal abuse first started.

Psych Undergrad

Anyone who has a psychology, linguistics bachelors or any other that wasn’t CSD, what was it like figuring out how to apply to grad school? I’m interested in uva which has leveling courses built in to the masters, and marymount which says you can take missing prereqs before starting grad school once accepted, but unsure of how to even be competitive enough to be accepted.

Spring transfer

I got waitlisted for transferring fall 2026, is it even worth it to roll over the application for spring? I’d be a third year, have a 3.7, associates, all course requirements except world language which I can place out of, and a D I retook and got an A my most recent semester.

Transfer Waitlist

Has anyone else gotten off the transfer waitlist since June 2nd? The wait is awful and apparently the waitlist list last year didn’t close until like July, just for no one to get off? Not sure how true that is but any useful info would be nice

Rollover spring application

If you’re rejected for the fall and want to roll over your application for spring admission, are you allowed to update which program you’re applying to? Apparently spring admission is only for the college of arts and sciences, so what if you originally applied to a different school and want to apply for spring, so you switch to CAS in the application?

Waitlist Spring Grades Update

For the transfer waitlist we have to submit spring grades asap, I retook a class at nvcc and it's supposed to replace my first attempt and update my GPA to reflect the replacement, but it hasn't updated yet. Should I wait for my transcript to be fully updated or just send what I have now. Or send both if that's even possible

Retake

I retook a class this semester but it seems like the grade didn’t replace my first attempt, it just added it to my gpa like it was a different course. How do I go about this?

After 2 years of working toward this, I got waitlisted at UVA as a rising third year for School of Education and Human development. Does anyone have literally any insight at all abt chances something. I literally don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t get in since I had so many plans that were dependent on my acceptance I feel horrible

I got wait listed for the school of education and human development. When they say to update with spring grades, is this an official transcript or can it be unofficial?
