[GB] IGA POP UP LOUNGE IN ISTANBUL

Hi,

I looked at the subreddit and noticed that many people in the past shaping that the main IGA lounge was removed for the list. I think it’s been removed again ?

Is the IGA POPUP LOUNGE worth it for a 5 hour layover? First time solo travelling also.

Or do u know anyway to get access to the real IGA lounge?

Thank you!

I had a best friend since primary school—like, we were really close. We ended up going to the same uni (different courses), but stayed close. She knew my friends, I knew hers, and we all became one big group.

When I started uni, I grew much closer to my deen. I never missed prayers, would even leave lectures if needed, and started learning more about Islam (I’ve been a hijabi since high school).

Separately, I also have another close friend who became more practising after getting to know me—she started praying and recently began wearing the hijab. So both of us have been taking our deen more seriously.

Things changed with my original best friend when she got a boyfriend. She started spending most of her time with him and gradually distanced herself from everyone else. She missed important events, including a special occasion and my birthday dinner. We were only seeing her once or twice a month. I got upset and eventually stopped talking to her. She didn’t even say happy birthday, which hurt but that’s not even the main issue.

More recently, she’s been liking and reposting videos that come across as Islamophobic. She even reposted TikToks about Islam being a “male-centred religion,” which made me really uncomfortable especially since she rarely reposts anything.
We confronted her about it, and she did apologise, but it didn’t feel like she truly took accountability.
Now I feel uneasy about her seeing my social media, especially since I post a lot. I’ve noticed some of her old friends have already blocked her. I generally think she has none left apart from us and her bf.

Would it be too harsh if I blocked her too, or is that reasonable?

I still can’t imagine being friends with someone who has an issue with my religion all along

Dentist prices in the UK are extremely expensive, so my dad suggested that I go to Libya or Tunisia for a few days to see a dentist. I want to get my teeth professionally cleaned, and I need two fillings (they’re not deep, and it’s my first time getting fillings).
Does anyone know the prices? Would you recommend going there, or choosing Tunisia? Are there any good dentists you would recommend?

Oh and I want to get a replacement retainer and I’ve been quoted £579 (I think that’s around for a replacement retainer. Is there a dentist in Libya that does it right and cheaper?
