IDK if I can stop using social media

I first started using social media when I was 5. I've been hooked ever since. I've been massively online throughout my whole life on social media, online forums, and online video gaming. Now, I'm 23 (nearing 24) and I spend an excessive amount of time on my phone. My mom got me a new phone last year, an iPhone 16 Pro Max. At times, I wish I had a shitty phone instead or those "dumb phones" some people in this subreddit have so I can lock in and focus on school completely. It's hard because I have so much bullshit saved in my bookmarks across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc. like dinner recipes, workout routines, book recommendations, diy crafts, and other helpful and genuinely useful information that I feel like I want to "get around to doing at some point" but I never do. I guess I want to stop deluding myself that I use social media for anything else than comfort really. But I don't know how to stop using it. It's really a struggle for me. I always bypass my screen time restrictions. I always figure out a way. If I deactivate and delete my accounts to study, I can just reactivate and restore them when I feel like procrastinating. Telling myself "no" especially when it comes to my phone is so difficult because the consequences to phone addiction are not nearly as abysmal as like alcoholism or drug addiction, for example. I'm trying to train that muscle that can tell myself "no" and stick to it. But as of now, I am very far away from having any sort of discipline. I wonder about downgrading my phone but I know at the end of the day, if I feel that strongly the desire to use social media, which I do, I will bypass any sort of obstacle I put in place to prevent myself from doing so.

What songs do y'all consider to be "whimsigothic"?

I was listening to a song today and it made me wonder what songs I would consider to be whimsigothic. The song that inspired the question is Rilkean Heart by Cocteau Twins. I do consider this song to be whimsigothic. Another song I feel is whimsigothic is Mass Anasthesia by Mediavolo. let me know what y'all think 😁

What is the best movie theater membership in L.A. right now?

I'm trying to decide on what movie theater membership to get for the summer. What do you suggest is the best membership? And what membership are you getting for this summer? I consider things like price, food, bathroom situation, parking situation, programming, etc. so I might go with Alamo Drafthouse but I hate paying for parking, even if it is validated parking.
