so tired of getting different advice every time i ask why my weight loss stopped

not even mad just genuinely confused at this point lol

ive posted variations of this question like 3 times now on different subs and every time i get completely different answers. someone says "eat less", someone else says "ur not eating enough", someone says "its ur hormones", someone says "just be patient it'll come off eventually"

meanwhile im just sitting here still stuck at the same weight for over a month, still getting random headaches and feeling drained by mid afternoon, still losing control at night and snacking on stuff i dont even want, still restarting every single monday like its a fresh start button

i track my food most days but not perfectly, i drink water, i sleep ok not amazing. i dont think im doing anything crazy wrong but obviously something is off bc this isnt normal for me

at this point i just want to know if theres an actual way to figure out whats wrong instead of just testing random advice from strangers on the internet one at a time for the next 6 months

anyone actually gotten to the bottom of their own stall or is this just what weight loss is like for everyone eventually

anyone else lose weight fast at first then it just completely stops??

so context, been doing low carb for about 2 months now (not super strict keto just cut most carbs) and the first few weeks were great, lost like 8 lbs no problem

then it just... stopped. like completely. ive been stuck at the same weight for almost 3 weeks now even tho im not eating any differently

whats weirder is i started getting these random headaches, im tired way more than usual even after sleeping fine, and at night i just lose it and end up snacking on whatever even tho i KNOW im not hungry, im just bored or stressed i guess

then every monday im like ok new week im locking in, and by wednesday im already off track again lol. anyone else stuck in that exact loop

i dont even know if its a diet thing or a habits thing at this point tbh, feels like im doing everything "right" but nothing is working anymore

curious if anyone actually figured out what caused their stall or if its just one of those things that eventually fixes itself

finally found a keto meal that doesnt leave me starving 2 hrs later

ok so i gotta share this bc it took me embarrassingly long to figure out

for like 2 months i kept making "keto" meals that were basically just cheese and butter on everything lol, felt full for like an hour then BOOM starving again, snacking on random stuff, headaches, the whole thing. i genuinely thought that was just how keto was supposed to feel

then i started making this bowl instead and its actually insane how different i feel after:

- piece of salmon, pan seared w salt+pepper

- half an avocado

- handful of spinach/greens

- olive oil drizzle

- salt (like actual salt, not a sprinkle, i think i was massively under-salting before)

15 mins total, not fancy at all

but the real thing is i stay full for like 4-5 hrs after this and no crash, no random 3pm headache, no losing it and snacking at 9pm. which used to happen to me literally every single day

turns out (at least for me) it wasnt about eating MORE fat like everyone says, it was that i wasnt getting enough protein or salt at all, i was just guessing the whole time

anyone else realize way later than they shouldve that they were just doing something basic wrong the whole time lol. feel like nobody tells u this stuff clearly when u start

3 months into keto and still confused why im not losing weight some weeks

so ive been doing keto for about 3 months now and its SO inconsistent. like some weeks i lose 2 lbs no problem, other weeks literally nothing moves even tho im eating basically the same stuff

ive read like a million posts saying "just eat more fat" or "cut carbs more" or "add more salt" but honestly idk which one applies to me bc i dont even track that closely, i just eyeball everything at this point

started getting headaches randomly too which is new, and i feel drained by like 3pm every day even tho i used to have good energy on this diet

part of me wonders if im just snacking more than i realize bc i dont really "diet track" anymore, i just kinda go by feel now which probably isnt smart lol

anyone know if theres like an actual way to figure out whats going wrong instead of just guessing and trying random tips from reddit comments (no offense to this sub i love u guys)

is it normal to feel worse on keto after the first month??

ok this might sound dumb but bear with me

first month of keto i felt AMAZING, tons of energy, sleeping better, everything was great

now im on month 2 and honestly i feel worse than before i started?? constant headaches, tired even after sleeping 8 hrs, and i get these random cravings at night that i just cant control anymore

i thought keto was supposed to get easier the longer u do it not harder lol

im not tracking macros super strict anymore bc i kinda just "know" what to eat now but maybe thats the problem idk

also can we talk about how every single monday i say ok THIS is the week i get back on track and then by wednesday im already slipping again. anyone else stuck in that loop

genuinely dont know if this is normal keto stuff or if im just doing it wrong at this point

anyone else feel like keto just... stopped working after a few weeks?

so i started keto like 2 months ago and ngl the first 2 weeks were amazing, lost weight fast, energy was good, felt like i finally found something that works

but then it just stopped. like literally nothing changed for almost 3 weeks now. im still eating "keto" i think but the scale just wont move

whats weird is im also just tired all the time now, get random headaches, and at night i lose all control and just eat whatever is in the fridge lol. then monday comes and i tell myself ok today i restart for real this time... and the cycle just repeats

i dont even know if its the carbs, or protein, or if im just doing something wrong with electrolytes or w/e. every article i read says something different

anyone else been through this? did u figure out what it actually was or did u just give up
