Felicia…Wtf…

Is it crazy to say that I kinda hate this? Felicia’s always been an animal lover, so to play off her hitting Franks dog as a joke feels incredibly weird and distasteful.

To have Felicia sit there and try to smoothen Frank by giving him the “look” is beyond horrible. I’ve had such a 50/50 take on this run, but at the rate this is going, I can’t see myself liking it. Enough people already don’t like Black Cat, and now they’re cooking her on Twitter 😔

Anyone Else Feel Like This Is A Bit…Odd…? (ASM #29)

I just find it a bit…odd. Felicia hasn’t seen Peter in weeks, and has been worried a good deal about Peter and where he’s been.

This is likely their first interaction since he returned from space and her first thought is a flirty text saying they can meet up in costume instead of having a serious conversation.

Then again, Felicia could just be really pissed off about it. But I’m not sure. Let me know your thoughts.

Anybody Else Think This Is a Bit Hypocritical?

I understand that Felicia’s character development has gone through enough to merit her own independence as a character, but something about this kinda rubs the wrong way Meta-wise.

G. Willow Wilson is taking shots at Spider-Man in a run where the main character is a character that originated as a Spider-Man character, in a story that focuses on the events after Spider-Man got shot into space, using mostly characters that originated in Spider-Man comics nearly every issue, on a panel where nothing but Spider-Man characters are shown.

It kinda feels a bit like they’re putting others down to make themselves appear higher. Idk tho. Something about this kinda rubs me the wrong way. Maybe I’m reading too into things? Let me know what you think.
