Working night shift and listening to Bubblegum. I know his solo work is not classified as grunge. Strange Religion is beautiful. His lyrics are amazing. He played and was friends with the musicians we loved. What solo stuff of his do any of you like? Colabs?

I work night shift. I bought a stenciled shirt off etsy for my son and paid $75. I made these at work free hand. NgL, I got inspiration online. I love how they turned out.
My oldest child lives out on the PNW coast and I bought her tickets to the LS memorial birthday party at the Showbox in Seattle. I feel pretty good about supporting that cause. The cover band is Jar of Flies, have any of you seen/heard them? Also, why do so many singers holler when they're trying to do a Layne era cover? I also ordered the Layne journal and pre-ordered Mike McCready's book for myself. I just want to share what I'm up to with people that appreciate the music I love. Thanks for reading!

So, I live in Upper Michigan and have never been to the PNW. I am an empty nester and live on a pretty limited income.
I get nostalgic and also sad when I think of opportunities I squandered and the things I'll never do.
Is it crazy to want to travel to Seattle just to see the fabled places where AIC, Nirvana, Mudhoney etc. played and resided? Because I really want to. I want to see Capitol Hill, Mt. Rainer in the Fog, The Croc, The MotherLoveBone mural...you get the picture. Should I do it? A 3 day round trip flight and stay at the Green Tortoise? Is it a wrong- headed investment of time and money?
Seattle, will this pilgrimage bring me joy?
Was getting ready for my day and had a shuffle of AIC playing. This came on and stopped me cold. Just feeling sad for all of us.

Is there a website or publication that contains all of the AIC lyrics chronologically and separated by who wrote them? I think they would read like a long conversation. Anyway, I would like to read them this way.
