My sister and I are thinking about one day being a billet family, we always loved the idea and love hockey. Never really wanted kids ourselves otherwise. Anybody ever done it? Any thoughts?

I think it would help us not use the same archetypes over and over, when there are 16-18 of one gender. I would also love an all queer season but I think thats less likely

Id rather eat the cost of the deposit at this point. Lost so many of our big players at this point im only really connected with MGM, Carpy, and CJ. CJ plays MAYBE a game or 2 most likely. Not worth spending the money and 4 hours of travel each way. I already pay for season tickets for other leagues I cant justify it. Im angry and really disappointed. Don't even know why we protected who we did.
It's my first year trying to watch the IIHF, do you guys know if/where it'll be streamed? I have ESPN, I'm hoping there. I also have HBO for the TnT games, but I'd love to not have to pay for sling/Fubo/etc, because that's so annoying
This is absolutely nothing against the show, but so many shows get canceled now after really short stints, I see people talking about how we are DEFINITELY getting the next book series but do we actually think thats likely? The show is popular now, glad about that, but similar to bridgerton it feels like shows hit a plateu all of the sudden and it starts to come into question. Im just curious on other people's thoughts. I tend to wait to watch shows til I know multiple seasons are out and guaranteed because I hate getting canceled abruptly
