16 Years of Injustice: The Forgotten Murder of Sindhu, a Massive Police Cover-up, and the Thriving "Godmen" Who Got Away With It.

It is incredibly frustrating how cases involving powerful institutions just vanish from the public eye. There is a news report detailing this entire case on YouTube that barely has a thousand views - it's like the public has completely forgotten it, or actively chosen to ignore it. We are talking about a poor family fighting a rigged system for 16 long years, running in circles while money dictates the outcome of the judiciary.

This is a classic case of powerful "man gods" versus a grieving family. Here is the story of Sindhu, a case that desperately needs our attention.

The Incident

On May 1, 2010, a young woman named Sindhu, who was a resident of the Shubhananda Ashram in Choottuveli, Kottayam, was found dead in a nearby river. Her family immediately suspected foul play. Her father was left devastated, especially since the burial was rushed, denying the family a proper chance to even see her body before she was put in the ground.

Since that day, her brother, Jayakumar, has been fighting a relentless legal battle to uncover the truth about what happened to his sister.

The Botched Investigation & Glaring Discrepancies

The initial investigation was a textbook example of a cover-up by local authorities and medical professionals. Here are the facts the family uncovered through official documents:

- Altered Timelines: The police case diary claimed her body was recovered from the river at 4:00 PM. However, official records from the Medical College and the Fire Force prove the body was brought to the hospital hours earlier, at 12:45 PM.

- The Impossible Post-Mortem: Official medical records show that the doctor who conducted Sindhu's autopsy also performed a complete post-mortem on another individual at the exact same time (between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM). It is physically impossible for one doctor to dissect two bodies simultaneously.

- Ignored Forensic Evidence: In a suspected drowning, a Diatom Test (which checks for water plant particles in the body) is scientifically essential to prove the cause of death. The doctor took absolutely no steps to perform it.

- No Viscera Test: The police completely failed to even request a viscera examination.

- Fabricated Lab Reports: The local police only sent a vaginal swab and smear for chemical examination, and it is alleged they used samples that didn't even belong to Sindhu to create fake lab reports.

The Ultimate Cover-Up

Following relentless pressure from Jayakumar, a higher-level police inquiry was finally ordered. This internal inquiry confirmed the family's worst fears: it found severe lapses by the local police, noted that fake reports were submitted to the High Court, and highlighted the gross negligence of the doctor who faked the simultaneous post-mortems. The report recommended strict action against all the officials involved.

But then, the system protected its own.
When Jayakumar filed a writ petition in the High Court in 2015 to get this final investigative report, the authorities claimed it had been submitted to a local court. However, the report is nowhere to be found. It is not at the local court, and the investigative branch claims they don't have it either. The official document detailing the massive cover-up was completely destroyed. Today, authorities claim no charge sheet can even be provided.

Where Things Stand Today

It has been 16 years.
Jayakumar is still fighting for his sister today. He is continually forced to run in circles through a judicial system that seems easily manipulated by those throwing around money to protect their own.

Meanwhile, the Ashram is operating perfectly fine. Nothing happened to them. People continue to come and go, and massive amounts of donations keep pouring in to support these institutions.

We cannot let cases like this stay buried under a few hundred views on a forgotten video. People need to talk about this. The system failed Sindhu, but as a society, we shouldn't.

Finally to my dear YouTube influencers, talk about cases like these that are in need of attention, instead of apparathe veettile chechi's shenanigans.

Namaskaaram.

The Q800F sounds okay, but not sure if I've set it right.

I have paired this with my LG C4 OLED 55" with a 8K HDMI cable via the eARC/ARC port from the TV, the room size is around 170sq.ft. When I connect it via my phone's Bluetooth and play via Apple Music, it sounds incredible, bass is perfect, clarity everything is perfect.

But today when I use the TV's YouTube and Apple Music it sounds fine BUT not as good as how it sounds via my iPhone's Bluetooth stream.

I was just wondering if it's anything to do with the cable or the TV/Soundbar settings. Please advise anyone using a similar setup. Oh by the way, I've put the center channel to +2, and +6 for the subwoofer because it was a little underwhelming from the TV.

Help your brother out :') I've attached all the photos I could click of the settings.

Which one? Samsung HW-Q800F vs. JBL Bar 500 MK2? Please share your advices.

Hey everyone,

I’m stuck in absolute decision paralysis and could really use some unbiased, real-world advice. I have the opportunity to pick up either a brand-new Samsung HW-Q800F or a JBL Bar 500 MK2 for right around the same price ($400 USD)

I’ve spent hours searching the sub, but the opinions are all over the place. Here is my exact situation and listening style to help narrow it down:

- The Room & Constraints: Space is tight, and due to structural constraints, physical rear speakers are 100% out of the question. I am strictly looking at a plug-and-play bar + wireless sub setup.

- Low-Volume Listener: I rarely, if ever, crank my system up. I do a lot of late-night watching and music listening at moderate to quiet levels.

- Regarding Bass: I am absolutely not a heavy basshead. I want decent, tight, full-sounding low-end, but I definitely don't want a loose, muddy room-shaker that’s going to have my neighbors knocking on my door at 1 AM.

- Atmos Expectations: I completely understand that without discrete physical rears, I am not getting a true 360-degree theater bubble. I'm fine with that. All I want is a decent, wide front soundstage with at least some noticeable vertical height tracking (like helicopters or rain) right in front of me.

The Samsung Q800F is a true 5.1.2 system with physical up-firing height drivers, which tells my brain it should handle native Dolby Atmos height much better at low volumes. On the flip side, I see a ton of people on here praising the JBL Bar 500 MK2 for how full it sounds, but it's a 5.1 system using virtual MultiBeam tech to simulate height, paired with a massive 10-inch sub that I'm worried might be overkill for quiet listening.

For those who have actually lived with either of these setups:

  1. Which bar retains better dialogue clarity and audio detail when you turn the volume down low?
  2. Does the JBL's virtual Atmos completely disappear at low volumes compared to the Samsung's physical up-firing speakers?
  3. Is the JBL's 10-inch sub easily tames for apartment/shared-wall living, or is the Samsung's 8-inch sub a better fit for a non-extreme basshead?

Really appreciate any honest takes. Trying to buy one this weekend! Thanks!

Sidharth Prabhu

Noticed today this person posting again, I'm not here to say that he shouldn't be doing any of that, but, wasn't he DUI, intoxicated and killed an innocent soul on road? Yes, I agree to getting second chances and all that, but just for a moment, the person who passed away, avarkku alle sherikkum loss aaye?

Especially when it's a Malayali doing things like this, remember when Bhasi was intoxicated and saying crap, people labelled him as kallum kanchaavu? I'm not supporting that, but I also don't think it's really fair people are praising him and projecting him like some punyaalan "sidhu aliyaaaa❤️❤️‍🔥🔥"

Just thought of putting this here, probably ithu vaayikkumbo njaan aarikkum thettu kaaran, so yea njaan pokunnu, ok bye.

From the lock screen, I'm completely unable to unlock, even if the Face ID unlocks, the screen doesn't unlock!

I'm on iOS 26.3 , I don't update immediately, I wait to see what people are saying and then eventually update. Prior to the 26.3 update also I had the same annoying issue happening every other day, atleast 2 times a week. The only solution is to reboot the device and then it works fine.

Another stupid bug that was there before and after the bug was, while on a WhatsApp call, sometimes the volume button JUST DOESN'T WORK!! Especially while on speaker mode while talking and I want to decrease the volume, I can't, I have to change modes to earpiece speaker and immediately change the volume, change mode again to main speaker and then I'll be finally able to change the volume. Otherwise it's so so so annoying.
