Starters tonight

No Berger again and she’s not a reserve. I am assuming she’s just getting some well earned rest?

Question about ticketing app

I purchased tickets for tomorrow’s game. One of the tickets has a barcode in the app. The other currently says “no barcode issued yet”—but the game is less than 24 hours away. Does anybody have any advice to make my other ticket work?

Thank you!

Virtual Town Hall for Season Ticket Members—Thursday at 7pm

At the end of the team email announcing the move to season ticket holders (which promises us comparable seats in Queens at our locked in rates), there is an RSVP for a virtual town hall on Thursday at 7pm. Pointing it out in case folks missed it.

Wilka’s is screening the first WNBA game before the 30th anniversary game

Hopefully we see the same outcome in tonight’s game!

They are literally making up the rules as they go along

“According to Hefford, the PWHL made the draft order decision after monitoring the success of the PWHL's expansion teams in their roster building process, with the goal of competitive balance across the league. Hefford also said the league's decision adhered to the Gold Plan rules as they were designed.”

Wilka’s needs our support!

Wilka’s on the Bowery is a women’s sports and queer focused bar that is a member of the Liberty Bar Network. They show all Liberty games with sound. I personally love watching road games there.

Inexplicably, Instagram has permanently suspended their account—very possibly part of a coordinated campaign as they have gotten a lot of public complaints for not airing Knicks games. This shuts down one of their primary advertising methods—their account had over 10k followers.

Folks looking for a public place to watch Liberty games—please consider supporting Wilka’s. Meanwhile their new backup account handle is @wilkassportsbarnyc

UPDATE: They are back online with their original handle!!

Fanatics (presumably unintentionally) did the funniest thing

Advertising that they are selling Laney-Hamilton jerseys while (1) having a typo on the page and (2) using a picture of BLH in a white jersey when they still don’t sell those (I know we all want them burned but still).
