Me and my wife with 5 years old daughter are moving to new castle in 2-3 months time after my company has decided to move me down under.

I wanted to ask which areas are good to buy a house under 1.5 million please? Looking for 4 beds 2 bath 2 garage as a minimum.

What’s the normal/preferred land size?
Which suburb is good?
New or old house?
I will have to travel to Sydbey 1-2 days a weeks so I am assuming that train is an easy option?

Please guide me to the right direction. 😊

I have a membership card that offers 25% off the advertised price on Brekky if you stay for a night with a certain hotel brand.

The actual retail price was $45 but there was a special of $35 that was advertised.

My question is according to the law, the 25% applies to 45 or 35 please?

I have been at this place for almost 2 years and this year the increased proposed rent has been more than 25% without any improvements etc.

Not according to the market expectations.

Rental lease ends on 1.07.2026 & I have applied to go to NCAT due on 12.06.2026 to get orders against the rent increase ( I have enough proof & I know I will be successful).

The questions is that if I am successful, can the landlord ask me to vacate the property on 1.07.2026?

The landlord hasn’t provided me with any new rental contract.

Please help.
