Hollow Knight: Silksong - Sea of Sorrow Confirmation (July 6 2026)

After months of speculation from the Hollow Knight community, Team Cherry has officially unveiled more news regarding Sea of Sorrow, the first major free expansion for Hollow Knight: Silksong. The update is confirmed to have Hornet be able to jump, dismissing rumors of the new journalist mode they have discussed implementing in the past. The storyline will expands Hornet's journey beyond Pharloom, involving a possible rematch with >!savage beastfly!< in >!Bilewater!< while hinting at the death of the the beloved NPC >!Pablo!< in later stages of the DLC. The game has been delayed, though, as Team Cherry as stated that they want to wait until >!Lace!< ages a few years, making the release window sometime between 2030 and 2035.

“These crazed stages ain’t s-“ [Fluff]

All fun and games until you hear THAT theme….

EDIT: I actually fought crazed tank no gacha with lvl 20 units so that’s what inspired me to make this.

Nice Try Bro 😭✌️ [Fluff]

[Fluff] Literal Chills…

Anyone remember how much aura this theme has before they changed it? Still reminds of me of all my suffering fighting Manic Eraser (the old Bahamut stack strat no gacha btw)

First Ever Rice [Cinnamon]

Is this decent for a complete beginner to Linux? I switched a few days ago due to performance issues on windows and riced fastfetch for 5 hours (I didn't even understand the terminal trying to install fastfetch) so I hope this looks pretty good.

Hollow Larp: Silkpost

This took forever to make since I had to learn everything from scratch (Switched to Mint 3-4 days ago). Decent Achievement for a beginner?

Battle cats milk tier list 17+ 🫩

have panned through the options, and determined these few are the top ten. (I’m killing myself.)

  1. Cat.

I mean you could probably squeeze a solid amount out of them, but they still can’t keep up with the rest of the competition, so here she lies.

  1. Housewife cat.

While she does have a fair amount of size/recoil, it would be foolish to place her any higher than 10th. This is due to her breasts likely being quite drained from all the children she’s had, along with the fact that she is likely getting on in years. (~35 if I were to guess.)

  1. Dasli.

While she is flatter than Kansas, she has dark energy that could very likely cause her to generate a much higher yield than it looks. She is also quite young, and the benefits she reaps from this are enough to put her above housewife.

  1. Pai Pai.

Now we’re getting into the upper ranks, she has above average size paired with solid recoil and a young age, making her ideal for milk production. (According to farmboy cat, that is.) This is enough for her to pass Dasli, but just barely fall short of our next contende.

  1. Valkyrie cat.
She has slightly more size than Pai-Pai, while being slightly younger, but the big seller her stamina, far surpassing that of Pai Pai and putting her barely below her girlfriend.

  2. Red Riding Mina

While this may shock some of you, Mina has made it into the top 5. While she may be pretty flat, her other statistics are the best the game has to offer. She is at the prime production age (19-20, NOT A CHILD.) on top of being EXTREMELY high in endurance. (She has 1M hp and can skip with a 60lb rocket launcher for an infinite amount of time) This is enough to pass up Valkyrie, but not enough to pass the next contender.

  1. Mother cat.

Not only is she in her 20’s, which is a very solid production age, but she also nets very solid breast size. (What am I saying 😭) While she may have mediocre stamina due to being a mother of 9, she makes up for this by having a jaw dropping 8 boobs! just kill me

  1. Kaihime.

She is like half bull or smth meaning that she has a higher production already, but she also has okay size and an age that is only slightly past the prime for milking. Ngl she’s carried by the fact that she’s a minataur and thus the highest in stamina by a long shot.

  1. Cow cat.

I know that everyone was expecting the m to be first, but suprisingly enough, no. I don’t think I need to elaborate on a literal cow being here, so let’s just move on.

  1. Jeanne.

In number one we have Headmistress Jeanne, and it’s for 2 big reasons. (it’s 3 but let’s just roll with it.) Firstly, she probably has her own gravitational pull she’s so big, meaning they have some of the highest storage here, even beating cow cat and mother cat. Next, she has very solid stamina, having 4 KB, good speed, and a decent amount of health. Lastly, she’s around 23, which is the prime age for milking. With this in mind, there’s no question about who the goat of calcium is in battle cats.

Honorable mentions: Seashore Kai, Magica Cat, Edgemaster Staal, Trixie the Merc, Jiangshi, Riceball, Lilin, Lasvoss. (I‘m taking precautions to make sure 9 year olds don’t see ts, please don’t ban it this took so long)

[Discussion] Are super backliners falling out the meta? (Debate)

I was giving stage advice in a discord server and someone criticized me for recommending units like cyberpunk and UF Cosmo since "any stage can be rushed in 2026". I have no clue why people believe this due to the history of the game favoring long distance units.

In my opinion, people often fail to recognize the impact units like cyberpunk have had on the meta as a whole. Below is a general analysis of the super-backliner role, using cyberpunk and UF Cosmo as primary examples.

1. The game has always rewarded outranging enemies.

For example, Cyberpunk Cat became so popular because slow + long-distance attacks let you dismantle stages safely by keeping enemies from pushing. Even in today's meta where bahablast is crucial for no-gacha gameplay, the amount of utility cyberpunk provides to the average player is astonishing, even without the use of cyberstacking.

One could argue tanking is an alternative strategy, but some usages of tanks have fallen out of the meta as the game aged. An old example of this (even in SOL) could be master A, who was littered in early SOL stages. Tanking master A was often punished in these scenarios since his DPS often creates a scenario where units cannot damage him without either wasting valuable money/time although when options such as titan cat seem optimal in the early game. Even at the start of the game is long-distance rewarded, proven by the heavy usage of backliners in the game (with exceptions of enemies such as tackey who are designed to hit these units, but the argument stands in most cases).

2. UF Cosmo's significance is even more obvious.

Since UF cosmo released, the meta has shattered completely. Massive standing range lets him hit targets that many rush units literally cannot reach safely. Some stages become dramatically easier when you can remove pushes by the sheer amount of DPS a single cosmo possesses. His late game potential is also extreme great because he can be a great sage-counter even if he doesn't always target floating/angel sages.

Furthermore, stages with timed enemy spawns, powerful backliners, relics, behemoths, or layered threats often reward control and positioning over blind aggression. Many late game enemies or bosses can even one-shot bahablast, making the strategy fail often. Bahablast is still a game-breaking unit (undebatable at this point), but the role of a super backliner is heavily underappreciated in a meta where rushing/tanking seems like a more approachable option, making the usage of super-backliners feel more rewarding in the long run.

Any thoughts? Feedback? I wrote this in about 1-2 hours and would like to know if my stance on the role is valid in today's meta.

EDIT (6/7): In the context of this argument I view super-backliners as units that can outrange the majority of enemies. Technically the role includes any unit with a range over 500, but cosmo and cyberpunk imo were the most unique in their role so that's why I centered the argument around them. My reasoning could arguably be applied to any super-backliner. Also this is based om my experience with the units (started 2020) as some early stages never included backliners as a valid option without ubercarry (Master A for example).

[Discussion] Late Game AMA

I've played this game since quarantine (mid 2020) and have returned to the game recently for nostalgia. Beat UL 4 stars and am very far in ZL (tho I stopped pushing a while ago). Let me know your questions.
