Moldavite & Gold

I recently felt the pull to wear my moldavite again. Around the same time, I acquired my maternal grandmother's gold wedding band, and I intuitively put them on a chain together. The chain broke the first night, and I found the moldavite under my bed and the ring in my driveway. I cleansed them both, and they are now peacefully coexisting on the same chain. But it made me start thinking: how would you read the interaction between moldavite and gold energies? How does one change the other? How do they work together and in what ways might their energetic properties be incompatible? I'm interested in intuitive thoughts here from people who work with moldavite rather than internet searches.

Tips for sneaking in weight-bearing exercise

I put an 8# hand weight in my bathroom and do 10 reps each time I sit on the toilet alternating muscle groups. I've considered putting a band AROUND the toilet to get my legs in using the same strategy, but I'm concerned with the yuk factor. Getting in weight bearing is so hard to make happen for me.

What tips and tricks have made it easier for you to build muscle that don't involve going to the gym?

4 Week follow-up and I thought it would feel...different?

F59/SW230/CW223: I stepped on the scale and had lost 7 pounds in (not quite) 4 weeks on .25. I expected that I would be overjoyed and super proud of myself, but it was kind of a 'meh' moment. It's like I don't believe it's going to work for me and I'm mentally preparing for the inevitable failure. If I'm honest, I'm terrified about what life looks like when I'm not fat. I've been through menopause, become an empty nester, moved house 700 miles, gotten a divorce and buried a child. Another huge life transition feels overwhelming. Yes, I'm in therapy. Thanks for asking.

Does anyone else feel overwhelmed and fearful about the transition?

Do you count calories?

Realized during another conversation that some folks do. I don't - I just push protein, fiber and green leafy veggies and the rest takes care of itself. Do you? If so, does it feel supportive to your goals or do you just feel like you're supposed to?

Any Helpful Info

My mother bought this ring at a pawn shop in the 90s and I inherited it. No internal markings, likely from having been sized.

What catches my attention the most is how much 'wear' it seems to have-much more than I would expect from white gold, but what do I know?

Any thoughts on age, material, etc. is greatly appreciated.

How do you address LS with potential new sex partners?

I'm 59, single and post-menopausal. My GP casually mentioned LS to me about 4 years ago after a pap smear and prescribed clobetasol along with estradiol. I used the clobetasol for a month or so then discontinued since my GP had warned about prolonged use of it, but kept using the estradiol. I recently found a new gyno who had ZERO poker face when she saw my vulva for the first time and diagnosed me with LS. I hadn't visualized my vulva for a while, and, VERY INTENSE itching was the only thing I was aware of. The tissue feels normal to the touch, so I honestly didn't take the original info from my GP very seriously. Now, I've got fusing.

My question is: how do you address LS with potential new partners? I date both men and women, and I'd like to think at my age, partners will be mature about it, but I also would understand someone shying away from sex with me - it looks alarming, and I tear and bleed a lot. I honestly don't know if I've got it in me to go through that at this point in my life. I didn't think I was done with sex yet, but I feel like my body may be signaling otherwise. This is my 4th autoimmune diagnosis (Psoriatic Arthritis, Sjogren's, Uveitis, and now LS) and frankly, I'm overwhelmed.
