Representative response received

IRS wanted a letter from my employer just saying the W2 is correct. Dumbest thing to request but of course I got the letter but don’t know how to get it to them. Anybody got a phone number I can actually get through? All I always get not matter what time of day I call is “we’re sorry and something about high call volumes and not being able to take my call.” I’ve tried 4 days in a row at ALL times of the day including when they immediately open

Applying for Savor

Got my QuickSilver card 6 months ago. Wanted to see how long I should wait before applying to the savor? Credit score was about 530 when I applied and got approved for QS, score has went up 115 points since then so now I’m sitting around 650. My debt has also decreased by $33k. I also have referred 3 people to capital one and shoot for 2 people per month. Not sure if that helps.

Credit automatic increase?

Got a USAA secured card for $250 back in Jan of this year(2026) does USAA automatically upgrade at 6 months or does it depend? Always paid off in full, no late or returned payments. Credit score increased by 80 points since I got the card initially

Discover card

Road to rebuilding my credit. Not doing bad so far. Question is about my discover card. I just opened it about a month ago. But it says there’s no payment due this month(May 10th) so it’ll probably end of being due next month June 10th. Discover reports on the 13th of each month for me. So should I pay it all off so $0 reports on my credit or pay it down to 10%? Either way the actual payment isn’t due yet but it’s more for my credit profile sake. (Current balance is $167)

Anybody else done this before? How’d you make a plan of attack? For reference I have 1 night job and 1 day job, plan of attack is to reduce all my spending and use the salary from my day time job to pay out down. I have about $41k outstanding. I figure if I pay $3k per month I can have it paid off in 2 years. Does this overall help my score?
