Mahindra EV owners: Have you actually read the revised Me4U Terms & Conditions before clicking “I Agree”?

I went through the Terms & Conditions shown in the Mahindra/MEAL app, and there are a few clauses that I think EV owners should at least be aware of.

The most interesting one for me is Section 12 – Carbon Credits.

As I understand the wording, MEAL can use data collected from your car to calculate greenhouse-gas emission reductions, environmental attributes and carbon credits arising from the use, operation, charging or lifecycle of the EV.

More importantly, the terms say that the user waives the right to claim/register those carbon credits themselves.

However, the same clause also says:

The user may request MEAL to stop using data from their car for the purpose of claiming carbon credits.

I'm not saying these clauses are necessarily illegal or that Mahindra is doing something improper. Connected-car applications obviously require considerable vehicle and technical data, and some of this may be standard legal drafting.

But the carbon-credit provision particularly surprised me. Most people probably click “I Agree” thinking they're simply enabling their car's mobile application—not necessarily thinking about the commercial/environmental attributes potentially generated from their EV's operational data.

Also, acceptance covers a separate Privacy Policy, which is probably even more important for understanding exactly what vehicle/location/usage data is collected and shared.

Posting this mainly for awareness. Fellow Mahindra EV owners: were you aware of the carbon-credit clause? And has anyone actually exercised the option to ask MEAL not to use their vehicle data for carbon-credit claims?

Not getting OTA updates

I am not getting any OTA updates on my BE6 pack one. Not that I am missing any but it's a feel good factor to receive something via OTA.

Is anyone facing same query?

32M, Vitiligo, Looking for a Meaningful Relationship — Let Your GPT Read My “Guide to Me” Before We Chat

I’m looking to meet someone with the possibility of building a meaningful relationship.

Dating profiles have always felt a little strange to me. A few photos, a handful of interests, and a clever bio don’t really tell you much about how someone thinks or what being around them might actually be like.

So I tried something different.

Over time, I’ve written a “Guide to Me” — basically an honest description of how I think, what I value, what I’m working toward, how I approach relationships, my strengths, my blind spots, and some of the contradictions I’m still figuring out.

If you're curious, DM me and I'll share it with you.

You can read it yourself, but here's the slightly unusual part:

Give it to your own GPT and talk to it about me.

Tell it a little about yourself too, if you're comfortable. Ask where we might connect, where we might clash, what it thinks you should ask me, or what parts of my personality are worth exploring further.

I'm not suggesting an AI can decide whether two people are compatible. It absolutely can't.

But it might help us skip some of the repetitive small talk and get to more interesting questions.

A little about me: I enjoy ideas, building things, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, figuring out how things work, and conversations that start somewhere ordinary and somehow end two hours later in a completely different place.

I tend to connect with people through curiosity and conversation first. I value independence, authenticity, emotional safety, intellectual honesty, and people who are comfortable having their own opinions.

I’m not looking for a relationship just for the sake of being in one. I’d rather meet someone where both of us already have lives of our own, but discover that sharing parts of those lives makes them better.

And no, you don't have to pass some GPT compatibility score. 😄

If the whole idea sounds interesting to you, DM me for the Guide to Me.

Maybe your GPT will come up with our first conversation.

Does Mahindra provides APIs for data logging?

What I have observed through tata or mahindra (I have both) that none of the manufacturers share clear info on Start Odo, Start SoC, End Odo, End SoC, Avg speed, distance/kWh in a simple exportable table which can help us to judge if battery is performing as it was on day one!

This info is exists, but is scattered everywhere, we can't export and study at our end unless we do it manually.

Also, another one...Me4U, iRA.EV both have remote operation functionality and both of them don't have shortcut menu or widget! (There's a huge potential of automation in here, I understand safety concern but atleast there should be "Developer Mode")

Do let me know if any of this is possible?

Am I making any sense? Or am I overanalyzing?

Dense fog, narrow roads, and landslide risks – Mahabaleshwar → Kolghar → Kaas Plateau was unforgettable. What are some more uncommon drives around Pune?

We started early morning from Pune and reached Mahabaleshwar, where we were welcomed by dense fog that made the drive even more magical. From there, we took the Mahabaleshwar → Kolghar → Kaas Pathar route. Thankfully, the roads were mostly clear, but there were a few narrow stretches and some recent landslide-prone sections that reminded us how risky this route can be during the monsoon. Had there been a fresh landslide, things could have turned out very differently.

The views, waterfalls, mist-covered valleys, and the drive itself made it one of the most memorable monsoon road trips we've done. Kaas Pathar was absolutely worth it.

Looking for more offbeat drives or hidden gems within a few hours of Pune—not the usual Lonavala, Mulshi, or Tamhini recommendations. Would love to hear your favorites!

Turning Circumstance into Opportunity means seeing vitiligo as a bridge, not a barrier—connecting with people across cultures through a shared experience and embracing opportunities that go beyond borders.

I'm a 32-year-old man from India, living with vitiligo for the past six years.

An interesting realization I've had is that vitiligo quietly removes borders. It creates a shared lived experience that people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds can understand without much explanation. In that sense, I like to think of our community as a small, "limited edition" one—not because we're better or different, but because we share something relatively uncommon.

I'm not actively searching for a relationship or trying to rush into one. In fact, if I weren't living with vitiligo, I'd probably continue focusing on my own life without thinking much about dating.

But vitiligo has unexpectedly broadened my perspective. Instead of seeing it only as a challenge, I see it as an opportunity to connect with people I might never have met otherwise. So rather than limiting myself geographically, I'm open to getting to know people from anywhere in the world.

If you're having vitiligo, and enjoy meaningful conversations, I'd be happy to connect. Whether it becomes a friendship, a professional connection, a travel story, or eventually something more, I'd rather let that happen naturally than force expectations.

Sometimes the most interesting opportunities come from circumstances we never chose. Vitiligo is one of mine, and I'd rather use it to expand my world than let it shrink it.
