When house spiders get thirsty they go to your bathroom to get a drink
my mind is in shambles thinking about how spiders probably go to your bathroom to get a beverage at night sometimes.

Like in the getting to know each other phase. To give some context after my last relationship I realized I needed to stop dating just to date and work on myself and figure out my mental health situation to show up better for my loved ones in my relationships.
I think its going great and my personal life is going awesome aswell. I’m involved with a lot of community stuff now and Im hoping I meet someone more a bit more organically.
I do want a family someday so Im wondering is there a good or bad amount of time between relationships? I remember my ex saying she didnt date anyone for 3 years and being like woah thats nuts. Cut to today lolol. Thanks!
Edit: Thanks for all the responses!! Im glad to put that thought to bed. On that note goodnitee
I finished my second watch last night it’s so freakin cool. The light is able to displace Simon and move him through reality, and it’s responsible for a fragment of the quiet rapture. Maybe it can return things to how they were? With the movie finishing with his black box being recovered I really want to see more of what was on it, what would happen if the researchers sought out the light, exploring any of the other blood moons, see more about how the blood mutates life and how the blood tree is doing.
Im hungry for more stories in this universe because its so intriguing, and I understand why the creators don’t want to explain away the universe so much but frick man im in the bargaining phase of denial I want more oceans of blood but need to accept it aint happening.
Hey I have an opportunity to camp on a family friends woodlot. Ive spent a lot of time there, its a couple kilometres away from a main highway in a nice forest. I have all the stuff for camping and recently tested it and I want to go solo camping there.
I have bear spray, a bear horn, i’ll be smart with my food. Im just wondering how safe is solo camping like this? How frequently will I run into wildlife?
I struggled with body acne for a decade at this point. I remembered when I didnt have body acne, i was 18 and it wasn’t an issue, which was a bit of a head scratcher because wouldn’t hormones be the opposite? I thought about what was different and I would take night time showers back then.
2 weeks into night showering my body acne is 80% gone. A couple of times Ive showered in the morning and maybe that’s why its not 100% gone lol. Getting rid of this insecurity of mine has been a huge relief and I want to share this for anyone like me who used to turn their nose at night shower people maybe it might help you too. I learned an important lesson because this is the clearest my skin has been since my early 20s.
as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
6pm restart time btw
-Beech leaf mining weevil showed up in 2012 and started murking our beech trees (shout out to an OG invasive- beech bark disease from europe in the 1800s)
-Hemlock wooley adelgid showed up in 2017 and has been murking our hemlock trees since then.
-Emerald ash borer showed up in 2018 and has been murking our ash trees.
These continue to be tremendous losses to our forest ecology. Looking to the future here’s a few of whats likely heading our way at the moment.
-Spotted lanternfly was found in nursery in Ontario this year 2026 but hasn’t established a population to our knowledge. If that were to make it to NS that would be really tough for all of our maples and birches to deal with.
-Oak wilt was detected in Ontario in 2023 and would murk our red oak trees which are one of the most vulnerable oak species to the fungus
-Asian Longhorn Beetle is similar to spotted lanternfly where it would murk a lot of our hardwood trees. It was detected in Ontario and wiped out in 2020.
There’s so many invasives on their way here and it makes me really pessimistic about how they’ll alter our landscape. considering our biggest vector for invasives comes from the US, unless they tighten up their import-controls or the CFIA gets giga-juiced up I dont see it getting much better.
And have more patience for one another. This applies to the little me aswell, I can be dreadful to be around sometimes. That is all.
I just took some shrooms an hour ago and I wanted to report in 🫡
