I’m planning a Nova Sorc this season and I’m deciding between two approaches for the Lightning Sunder Charm:

Option 1:
Start on the Lord of Destruction ladder, farm a classic Crack of the Heavens relatively early, then switch over to the Reign of the Warlock ladder later.

Option 2:
Just start directly on the Reign of the Warlock ladder and wait until I get a Latent (or Renewed) Crack of the Heavens from Heralds.

Is Option 1 actually worth it, or do most people just start on RotW and accept the longer wait for a Sunder? Is it a longer wait in the first place?
Has anyone here done the LoD → RotW switch specifically for a classic Sunder, and was it worth the effort? Is someone planning to do so?

Curious to hear your experiences and opinions.

Javazon? I'd "have to" farm for Enigma, though on the other hand, that’s a nice goal to have.

Nova Sorc? Pretty cool. I haven't played one yet. She has Teleport right from the start and looks like fun. Infinity looks really expensive, though two Bers. But Enigma for other characters would be comparably pricey.
A Javazon would need both Enigma and Infinity, making it an even bigger undertaking.

Warlock? I haven't played that class at all and have no idea about it, which would make it feel really "fresh."

It's so hard to decide.

ich schreibe aktuell an einer Android-App, konkret ein Game mit online Fokus. Ich versuche möglichst personenbezogene Daten wegzuwerfen, aber ein google zum Beispiel schickt mir die EMail-Adresse beim Login und ich kann das auch nicht ändern. Ich kann die Mail-Adresse dann sofort verwerfen, empfangen habe ich sie trotzdem.
Ich würde das Projekt gern weiter treibe und auch mal öffentlich damit gehen, es sieht aktuell zumindest so aus als wäre der Scope des Projekts gut machbar.
Nun habe ich aber Angst vor Abmahnanwälten und anderen miesen Aktionen, selbst wenn ich versuche so genau wie möglich auf alles zu achten und eine Datenschutzerklärung / Auskunftsfunktion in die App zu integrieren.
Das Problem ist, irgend ein Jurist wird was finden wenn er das darauf anlegt und dann hafte ich mit meinem Privatvermögen, weil ich schließlich keine GmbH für die App gründe. Selbst eine UG wäre für ein "kleines Projekt" ziemlich übers Ziel hinaus.

Gewinnerzielungsabsicht habe ich erstmal auch gar nicht, aber auf Verluste durch gierige Anwälte habe ich auch keine Lust.

Wie geht man mit sowas um?

I’m looking into starting Tower of Fantasy because the gameplay and world look really interesting, but there is one massive dealbreaker for me: the constant character breathing, panting, and groaning sounds during exploration/running.

I haven't downloaded the game yet because I know these repetitive audio loops will drive me crazy. I want to play the game with the English dub because I actually want to understand the story dialogues and enjoy the voice acting so simply turning the "Voice Volume" slider to 0 or switching the language to Japanese are not options for me.

Since the game doesn't have a built-in toggle to separate dialogue from exploration noises, I wanted to ask the community if a manual file tweak is possible.

Specifically:

1. Is it technically possible to unpack the .pak files (using tools like FModel/UnrealPak), locate the specific breathing audio files in the WwiseAudio folders, and overwrite them with silent files?
2. What are the consequences? If someone does this, does the game's anti-cheat instantly flag it and result in an account ban, or does the game just refuse to launch?

I’d really love to give this game a chance, but I can't endure the constant hyperventilating in my ears just to enjoy the story. Has anyone successfully modded out these specific exploration sounds without losing the actual story dialogue?

Habt ihr eher den Eindruck, dass ihr viel beachtet werdet, oder eher wenige?

Ich meine Situationen im Supermarkt, wo ihr einfach durch den Laden geht und einkauft. Habt ihr das Gefühl, dass euch Frauen ansehen? Durchaus mehr als Männer?
Gar nicht mal Richtung "Flirten", sondern schlicht "Ansehen", mitten ins Gesicht gucken, Kopf deutlich zu euch drehen.

Ich will nicht sagen, dass mir das total unangenehm ist, aber ich fühle mich durchaus beobachtet. Besonders beim Einkaufen will ich einfach meine Ruhe und schnell raus aus dem Laden.

Ich habe einen Kater, der ist 12 Jahre alt.
Ich habe ihm Sitz auf Kommando beigebracht und ich würde sagen, dass das mit ein paar Tagen Übung wirklich schnell gelernt war.

Wenn ich das Futter vorbereite, möchte ich aber, dass er an seinem Futterplatz Sitz macht und wartet. Das fällt ihm unglaublich schwer.
Er muss bei den Vorbereitungen immer zu mir laufen. Er schafft das mitunter ein paar Sekunden sitzen zu bleiben, aber wenn er sich unbeobachtet fühlt, schleicht er langsam zu mir. Ich ermahne ihn dann immer wieder und häufiger muss ich ihn dann wieder zum Warteplatz begleiten, weil die reine Ermahnung nicht reicht.
Das geht jetzt bestimmt schon eine Woche so.

Hat jemand Tipps?
Was das typische "Man kann Katzen nicht Trainieren angeht", ich bin ziemlich sicher man kann, "Sitz" hat auch gut funktioniert. Das "Warte-Konzept" scheint allerdings sehr schwierig zu sein.

Weil wir alle wissen, dass Dating Apps nur darauf optimieren die User möglichst lange und oft in der App zu halten, mal die Frage, ob wir eine App schreiben sollten, die eben nicht darauf optimiert.
Eine App die zum Ziel hat möglichst viele und gute Matches zu erzeugen.

Natürlich kann man sich überlegen, dass so eine App nicht so erfolgreich sein kann, wie eine App die auf maximales engagement optimiert. Aber so eine App muss ja auch nicht auf Gewinnmaximierung abzielen. Der Betrieb und die Entwicklung ist ja nun nicht so teuer, dass man massive Einnahmen genrieren muss.
