Traveling with my bear can
I am flying to the Sierra for my next hike. I am required to have a bear can. I made a wee note for the TSA if they want to inspect my can. I think they could use a chuckle.

Recipe: packet of raw spam split in half added to the tortilla. Add mustard and hot sauce then top with a small handful of goldfish. Tasty, packed with protein and fat.
AC said eff this. Getting a new on installed right now. I am amazed just how hot it got in the house after 2 days of no AC. We are thankful it happened now when its only 103° and not with its 117°.
Im at Phoenix Fan Fusion (aka as a comic con) and this was a food option. It's supposed to be orange chicken. Its 7 chicken nuggets, over unseasoned rice and covered in orange sauce. I hate it.
I Spent a weekend at Kendrick Cabin north of Flag. Its an old USFS fire guard station that they rent out. It was amazing! I could see the milky way above the San Francisco Peaks, close to hiking trails, Flag and the Grand Canyon. It was so peaceful and the weather was perfect. 10/10 would rent again. If you get a chance you should see about renting it out.
During the colder months, no water but they provide wood for the stove. The cabin had solar power for the lights in the cabin but no outlets so bring power banks. Easy to get you, you can drive there in a sedan.
