*on the game

So I finished the Wo long 2 demo and did the survey and as someone with 2000 hours in wo long 1 and a heavily experienced combo player I would say that the overall demo met some of my expectations and didn’t disappoint me that much.

I really like all the mechanics added some I like way more than I thought I would and I actually think I’ll enjoy the open field more than mission to mission in wo long 1 and I also think that this game open field is significantly better than nioh 3 open field

I also have a controversial take which I said before hand but needed to play first to see, which is that the morale system is actually good in an open field environment and I think it’ll suit this game better than without it, and I say that as a Wo long player that thinks that Wo long 1 was ruin by morale

but the overall problem I would say for the demo is that… it’s an alpha. it feels unfinished the gameplay feels janky and if they literally just make the animations smoother and make them string together better and made the overall gameplay more smooth and less janky like Wo long 1 than I would say this game has the potential to be better than both Wo long 1 and nioh 3

but maybeee not as good as nioh 2 depending on the DLCs and endgame since ngl 2 DLCs and less development time for those DLCs than what nioh 3 had for its DLCs (and nioh 3 had a very under developed 1st dlc) is not to good and the only excuse I could give is that this game can re use a lot of assets from Wo long 1 so maybe that’s why it will take less development time for the DLCs and also Wo long 1 did a lot with its second dlc which only had 3 months of development time so I’ll hold out hope for the future for now.

TL:DR if they literally just listen to feedback and do what they can with 6 months of development time this game will be pretty amazing imo

How well are romance anime actually written?

I wonder this because I have a friend that glazes romance anime and think that pretty much all of his romance anime that he’s watched which is over at this point about 50 to 70 are unironically bare minimum 8/10 in terms of how good they are

now here’s the thing… I am a person who unironically look at ratings for things and slightly judge their quality based off their rating compare to other ratings but when he says that a romance anime is a 8/10 or even 9/10 and it has a 7.3 on MAL that kinda makes me wonder if that’s glaze

and the weird thing is, is that I see a lot of romance anime fans do this and say romance anime’s are the highest high and the absolute peak so I’m wondering from a technical standpoint how well are romance anime written compare to other genres/anime and how much of romance anime is actual slop rather than good writing quality with depth and deep emotion

Nioh 2 and Wo long had 4 ng+ with the first one being in the base game but if nioh 3 is only gonna get 2 DLCs than does that mean that we’re only gonna have 3 ng+ or are we gonna get 1 in one of the DLCs and 2 in the other?

If you had a hd 550 560 and 599 and eq all of them to the Harman target curve. Would there be any difference in how they sound. or better yet would the imaging or soundstage still be different between them or would it be the same

So if a movie is mastered at 4000/10000 nits (or even 1000 but a lot of scenes are above 1000 like 2000 nits) and my display can only handle 1200 nits should I use dynamic tone mapping (not Dolby vision btw just basic dynamic tone mapping) or should I use hgig? which one would give me a better looking result that’s more similar to the creators intent
