Adjusting Reasoning/Thinking and Effort?

I searched the web, the Zo site, Discord and Reddit and didn't find it so I thought I'd ask. I like to set Deepseek V4 Pro (for example) to Thinking or Reasoning and Max effort on my current set up. I want to try Zo, but will I be using the non-thinking version of whatever model? I'm bringing my own API from Openrouter.

Also, I'm currently using Composio. One API and it's connected to literally every online service I use from Gmail to Cloudflare to Github and on and on. I'm assuming I can, via the chat give Zo the CLI instructions and my API (in the Advanced settings) and perhaps it will work instead of signing into every one of my services individually?

Vintage Computer and Gaming Directory

I've assembled over 700 vintage/retro computing and gaming websites. It's located at https://atebit.tech and http://atebit.tech/classic/ (works on PowerFox!)

There's also a newsletter, an eBay price guide for US, Canada, UK, & Australia (ranks for sale items from "Deal" to "Wildly Overpriced"), and my About and Privacy pages are kind of entertaining.

I'd love to add more links! I'm lacking in non-English websites and 8-16 bit gaming sites. Take a look at and tell me what I'm missing. If you find an error or broken link let me know. You can DM me here or click 'contact' on the footer of the directory. Thank you!

But what I really want is links! I'm lacking in non-English websites and 8-16 bit gaming sites. Plus some of the less common brands. Take a look at and tell me what I'm missing. If you find an error or broken link let me know. You can DM me here or click 'contact' on the footer of the directory. Thank you!

Commodore & Vintage Computing Directory

I put together a directory of retro and vintage computing at atebit.tech. It currently has 135 Commodore related sites linked to it. There's also a tool which will tell you if that vintage Commodore 64 on eBay is a deal or if some flipper is trying to make a fast buck. It's not perfect but it's pretty good!

Would LOVE IT if the Commodore community would send me additional links focused on Commodore. Anything vintage/retro computing, interesting project sites, mods, museums, shops, etc. are welcome. At the bottom of each page is a "contact" button or you can DM me here. Thank you!

I've been collecting links to retro computing resources . . .

What's a site or community or store you have found and like/visit regularly that doesn't get enough attention? Anything from Amiga to ZX? I want to check it out!

My prediction for tomorrow's announcement - just documenting.

Prediction: A Commander X16 branded as a Commodore X16 with a multi-core FPGA board offering X16 and compatibility modes such as C128, C16 (and/or Plus/4), and a VIC20.

Wish: Above housed in a Commodore 16 bread-bin. IMHO the COOLEST Commodore ever made in that jet-black case!

Reasons:

  1. Live stream from MonroeWorld on this past Saturday reminded me that...
  2. Peri Fractic was involved in the designing/creation of the Commander X16
  3. Peri repeated "future" a few times and the Commander X16 is supposed to represent what the future of what Commodore could have looked like.
  4. Peri said 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Possibly a multi-core FPGA board offering Commander X16 and modes such as C128, C16-Plus/4, (2 steps forward from the C64 in the Commodore timeline anyway) and VIC20 (one step back.)
  5. It's being announced on the 16th. 16 being the theme here.
  6. The Commodore 16 uses the same bread-bin/keyboard as the C64/VIC20 so why not just make one in black (or smokey clear) for this new machine. In the spirit of the C64U it could be the CX16 or C16X.

(In case I was too subtle, I really want a black bread-bin Commodore of some kind. And not the "Mini" from Retro Games.)

Recurrent laryngeal nerve damage?

I had a Parathyroidectomy last Friday. I still feel like garbage and am sooo tired but I trust that will change in the next few days. Unfortunately, however, my RLN was stretched or stressed during surgery and only 1/2 of my larynx is working. I can’t talk much beyond a whisper and even that doesn’t feel great. According to everything I’m reading and my ENT it should return to normal over the next few months. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m ok and have a great sense of humor. But I’m afraid this will be isolating as I love being social but talking is difficult, a little painful, and I’m so quiet it’s hard to be heard. I also work in sales and not sure how I’ll network or do my job well over the coming weeks and months. Any advice appreciated.
