Hi! I’m new at the hobby and I got a couple of Marimo moss through Amazon. I was told to let them soak and they will recover their green. I don’t think this looks ok. Any ideas where I could find Marimo moss in Portland, OR? Thank you in advance.
I found this tiny new habitant in my 40 gallon community tank. It’s about 3 to 5 mm long. Thank you!!
Everyone fighting for a piece of shell envy 😂😂😂
The magenta snail won’t release it! Shrimp are surrounding it trying to snatch a bite 😂😂😂
I recently got these beauties. I’m so excited to see them grow ❤️❤️❤️
I’m looking to trade some of my floaters for stem plants (Valisneria, Cabomba, water sprite, etc)
Local trade only SE Portland.
Queen Elizabeth has been with us for 5 years. She is quirky and loves blood worms.
I hope someone can explain why my cart total is higher that the sum of the items I have in it.
The total price in the cart is $86.18 and includes a $8 coupon discount and free shipping. However, if I sum the item prices the total cost should be $63.96
I cannot understand why is higher.
Seems something is wrong with my frog. She was active yesterday. She ate and was swimming around. Today I found her on top of one of my tiger lily pads and now looks like she is covered on something.
My other frog is good.
Water parameters are stable.
PH 6.8
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 20
Ammonia 0
UPDATE: unfortunately she didn’t make it. My other frog will be ok alone? 💔
I noticed my long fin albino is more rounded. Any chance is expecting?
I got a school of black neon tetras and my Otos are convinced they are part of it.
I found this guy under the stand. It’s been there probably for a week or so. It didn’t smelled foul so I put it on my small tank. Is slowly coming back to life. I’ll call him Lazarus.
Hello world! I’m back in the hobby after a hiatus of 10 years. I’ve been keeping fresh water fish since I was 8 years old. A hobby I inherited from my granny.
Many technological advances and innovations has happened since 1985! I’m so happy to be witnessing this hobby get larger. Thank you for reading!!
