I went to a closing down sale to get some clothes yesterday and had a quick look at the watches just to see what they had. The Arnie caught my eye in the cabinet, but I didn't even try it on. I wasn't considering a watch purchase, and this one wasn't on my radar at all.

Today, I was drawn back. I tried it on and then thought it over as I perused the store once more. Arnie was reduced from $800AUD to $480 ($343USD), and it was the last one..

When I finally came to my senses and returned, a guy was trying it on and telling his wife, "It's cool, don't you think?" He looked at it for quite some time.

I lingered around inconspicuously, pretending to look at other watches. His wife started pointing out different ones for him to try on, and so he went to another cabinet.

Poised, I lept into action and asked to try it on once more. I realised I was crazy for walking away from it twice. It was awesome, and a solar tool watch is exactly what I wanted my next watch to be.

I am thankful for that woman, but alas, she led our man astray, for she pointed him to the "designer" watches.
