Swung by an op shop on the way home and added these to the collection. Blurays were $3 and DVD's were $1. The Eastwood collection was $4 and looks unused.
I went back to this neat little cafe / recycling shop today and bought the remaining titles that looked decent. Seems to be a few poorly rated ones there but mostly solid. 50cents per DVD and $1 for the Civil War bluray which is unopened!
Does anyone else here watch their DVDs on an old CRT TV? Ive tried watching mine on a 1080p tv and projector and the resolution constraints really ruin it for me. Thinking of collecting blurays instead now.
These DVDs started off my collection. They were in the garage of a rental and going to be thrown out by the owner. I wasn't collecting at that time but didn't want them to be thrown away. I forgot all about them until recently and was particularly excited to find that a mint Robocop was in the pile.
I recently started collecting and haven't had much luck with stores until wandering into a random cafe/recycling business which had all DVDs for 50c (35 US). All of these mostly mint condition DVDs were hidden down the bottom of a bookshelf and I almost missed them. Finally a decent score!
