So, I have an AMD Ryzen 9900X and every time my computer processes Vulkan Shaders the temps are just insane, like 80C. One time I saw it at 87C. I'm thinking it might be my CPU cooler but I could be wrong. I'm using Fedora 44 Linux. The Thermal Paste I use is from thermal grizzly, maybe I should just buy a new one.

So, I've never experienced this before. But the discover app gets stuck on getting updates. And it just says Fetching Updates. Idk how to fix this problem, I tried looking it up and found another post in r/Fedora with the same issue but with no solution. Let me know how I could fix this.

I'm currently using Fedora Linux and I was wondering if there was a software like revo uninstaller on Windows that searches for left over files from other programs and removes them? I'm been using Linux for a while now but there's just so many options its hard to say which one will do what I want it to do.

I’ve been playing Trackmania for more than a year now, and I think I’m addicted to it, lol. Here are a few things that I absolutely love about the game!

In no particular order

1. The map designs, I’ve never seen a game with such abstract maps. Making the game look completely different, like the MC project, bringing Minecraft into the game. It’s truly unique and I wish other racing games would embrace community made maps.

2. How your car can be completely fine after crashing at 500+ speed. There is a ton of racing games that make the damage to your car part of the game. And even though most of them stick to realism, Trackmania acts like damage doesn’t exist. Other than the fragile block, I find it hilarious how your car can go 900+ speed and still be able to finish the map.

3. The wood surface, most unique surface in the game. I feel like the developers wanted a surface that could never exist in real life. Going from 420 speed to I can’t even control my car anymore is hilarious and the fact that you have full grip makes it even funnier. There was one map that had wet wood plus reactor and I grinded that like crazy. And the reaction of just the water makes it a surface I truly want to get better in.

Thanks for reading! I love this game to death and I have nearly 400 hours on Steam. It will probably beat GTA V give or take a few years. Just know that when GTA 6 releases, I’ll probably still be playing this game! Not caring one bit. I play on PC on a keyboard. Feel free to comment your favorite features of the game! I clicked on the video, they haven’t even started yet. Few hours later I click it again and they’re literally celebrating the winner, lol. I just thought that was hilarious because I didn’t see any of the content, just the beginning and the end.

So my desktop has been acting weird lately, idk if it’s because it has Linux on it but I think it’s something internal on the motherboard. Sometimes when I boot it up it just has the green light on forever, and other times it boots but doesn’t show the splash screen, just goes into Linux. Giving me no time to press delete if I wanted to go into the BIOS. I’ve updated the BIOS but that didn’t seem to fix the issue and I’ve already reinstalled windows and Fedora Linux way too many times to count. So I really don’t want to reinstall the OS. Also the BIOS time is way off and each time I boot it it’s either on the right time or not. I have an Asus TUF B850 Motherboard, and an Nvidia GPU. I can provide more details if questioned I’m just very confused

So, I've gotten a lot of LTT T-shirts and I miss the ones with cool designs like the CPU shirt or the Screwdriver one. So abstract and since I'm an abstract artist I appreciate the time and effort put into the designs. Maybe it was too expensive to make, but I'd love another round of those designs or even new ones. Here are a few things I’m good at but don’t want to be.

1. I’m great at making people uncomfortable, I talk about weird things and socially awkward and I stutter like crazy under the slightest pressure.

2. I’m good at not improving my skills, I’d get a nomination for the time wasted on video games vs skills in my degree.

3. I’m good at spending money I don’t have. Love technology and PC building, my bank account is looking low, 😂

4. I’m good at sleeping, if I had a job sleeping id be rich. I go to bed at 12 at night and wake up at 11 or noon the next day. I can take a nap during the day and still need to rest a few hours later.

So, every time I launch Trackmania it sets the play time lower than it actually is. Goes from 360 hours or so to 340, maybe I’m just playing to much of the game but it happens on both my steam deck and my main desktop. Both running Linux btw and yes I did have the same thing happen on windows 11 so idk what’s going on. This is a minor issue but I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem? Thx for reading!
