Hello I am wondering who are the most common/main grandparents of Gen alph born 2013-2025?
I think thought out all generations it’s been mixed with some having edge Cases! Reading across subreddit and In general !
Like grandparents of Gen zers usually a mix of silent generation and baby boomers, sometimes greatest for older gen zers born 1997-2002, especially if born to late boomers/older xers
For millennials usually a mix of greatest/silent gen’s with sometime older baby boomers born 1946-1950 espically is born to older/core gen xers 1965-1975 for younger millennials born 1990-1996!

I think because most parents of Gen Alpha are millennials/younger x mostly boomers/some Xers!

Timeline and grandparents to most generations often:
Grandparents of millienals
Mostly a mix of greatest 1910-1927 and silents 1928-1945. With some grandparents for younger millienals being the oldest baby boomers born 1946-1950. sprinkled in for some younger Millienals born in 1990-1996 especially those with late 60s-early 70s birth (roughly. 1967-1973) since avg age first time mother CDC in 1970 was 21.4 and 1990: 24.2. Combine them is 21+24+1946=1991. A lot of younger millienals probably had boomers born in late 40s (1946-1950 as grandparents) , if the parents and millienal were the oldest child then boomer grandparents were somewhat common!
Grandparents of Gen z/zoomers: usally a mix of silent generation (1928-45) Baby boomer generation(1946-1964) with some grandparents sprinkled in of older Zoomers especially born late 90s-early 2000s sprinkled in being the Greatest Generation espcially if they had younger boomer parents 1958-1964 who delay having children and those boomers or those zoomers were one or is the youngest one in their families!
Grandparents of Gen Alpha: mostly baby boomers(1946-1964). However once again, if their the oldest child or the parent were the oldest child who patented in their 20s more likely they would have older Gen X grandparents born 1965-1973ish). Ex 1965-1989-2015 even an older alpha is oldest child could have Gen X grandma. But I think they have mostly boomer grandparents!
Iam wondering what will be the grandparents of Gen beta!
I think a mix of younger boomers and Gen Xers with sprinkled in older Millienals espcially for younger betas
which is similar to The structure of:
Gen Z: wihich was mix silent/boomers with younger greatest/gi sprinkled in for older Gen Z in some families born to especially if they had boomer parents!

I’ve said option 3 because it’s not uncommon for Gen beta/new borns to still have boomer grandparents espcially millennials or those boomer themselves delay parenting to late 30s-early 40s and a lot of younger beta with earlier families can have millienal grand! Like how a lot of millennials had boomer grandparents!

Of course Gen X parent mostly early/mid 90s to early/mid 2010s births. But do you know any Gen X who parent late 2010s or late 80s birth?
I think late 2010s more common due to delay parenting/college enrollment increase but a lot older Gen X parent at 20-24 and their was a teen pregnancy spike too! Meaning some older Gen X parent late 80s as well! Forgot to mention 1985-1990 is millienals core! But avg first time birth us this time period in late 80s was 24.2 while median first time was 23.7! This mean 1965-1966 had kids even 1988-1989! Think it’s 50/50

I’ve put greatest because some had older parents who delay parenting twice ex 1927->1965 mother->2002 kid birth, and Gen X for those with early parenting via late teens/early 20s parenting twice! ex 1965 grandma->1986 mother at 21->2007 grand at 21

I know on average silent gen are grandparents to millienals 1981-1996, and older Gen Z 1997-2002, how about some silent gen could be grandparents to younger Gen X common for older silent who had kids early example: 1928 had kid in 1950 at 22 had a kid at 1973 at 23 was very normal/acceptble for people can have kids , some even younger back then! Especially post war boom era.
Common because silent had their kids early 20s and so did booemrs espcially oldest child!

ex 1928+22+23=1973 was very common back then for early childbearing.

Delay parenting track Conversely if silent born 1945 had a kid at 32 delay parent in 1976 had a kid in 2008 at 32 Then silent is grand to younger Gen Z.

Hello i am wondering if more 1965 commonly cited first Generation X birth (1965-1980)
Have more likely to have baby boomer parents born 1946 late teen parents ex 19 since boomer (1946-1964)
