I felt in love with Banks universe and worldbuilding and right now i'm reading Consider Phlebas (i'm enjoying it) and I have a question about oribtals, so the Culture is a post scarsity society due to the almost infinite energy that it's harvesting from the energetic grid (from what I understood) but I did read that Minds bulid new orbitals by harvesting asteroids and moons but since thay have an almost infinite energy cannot they do E=MC2 and synthetize orbitals just from the energy that they have?

Literally his best album, I was blowed away, I enjoyed it even more then SMILE :D by porter, it felt like a darker Adventure with more mature Good Faith vocals (hot take), I loved every single song, maybe only Car Crash Baby didn't do too much for me but I think it might grown in me, my favorites of he favorites are Lonely Space Age, Super Platinum, Dancing On Your Grave and Fire Away but the rest are just so good that they might be there too, he absolutly cooked, i can't wait for him to release merch for this era.

First full disclosure I didn't know her at all before my coming out on the 24th of april, I learned about her when I joined aroaces spaces and it's strange because she has 15 milion subs but i never heard of her before that date however I just watched his Begin Not Straight video and it's incredible how much it resonated with me specifically when she was talking about choosing crushes because society demanded it and I litteraly thought: "holy shit it was what I did for the most of my life!", I did choose some people and I even confess "feelings" with them (completely unserious stuff) only to rejected and I didn't felt anything when they did that, If I managed to know her early I would accepted my nature earlier then this year but it is what it is... anyway it's incredible how much that video spoke to me.

Vorrei cominciare a leggere il ciclo della Cultura di Ian M. Banks partendo da Consider Phlebas e poi The Player Of Games, ho la C1 in Inglese (in italiano non cè niente solo il primo libro) secondo voi riesco a farcela? Avevo letto che Banks scrive con un ironia e sarcasmo tipicamente inglese/scozzese, troppo difficile?

Today I did go to my first Pride alone and it was a lot of fun! You see people from all walks of life, i did encounter some aces and some aros with most of them it was only a sign of approval but with one i did get some chat however it was short and I don't have any photos with them (kinda of a fortune because I dont like taking pictures of myself), some people stopped me to ask about my flag (i did have the sunset) but they were all respectful and kind, overall I didnt feel discriminated or had apophobia maybe a little invisbile but probably be ause of the huge amount of people, overall a fun and good experience, i feel stronger after this.

So I'm a aroace, and I'm struggling to understand QueerPlatonicRelationships, while I kinda understand what they are (a platonic relationship with a partner more intimate than a friendship but not intimate enough for romance) I read that people do action like kissing, cuddling, holding hands... like I usually associate this actions with romance, how can be aromantic and doing these things? Maybe it's like the favorible-indifferent-adverse-repulsive spectrum of asexuality?
