Commercials

20 years ago, I worked a LOT to get comskip functionality setup on our SageTV based DVR/HTPC so my wife could enjoy her shows without commercials.

Now she spends hours/day on Instagram watching ONLY commercials.

I-215/University Diverging Diamond Interchange Instructional Video

Needed to visit CSUSB this week and was simply amazed at how well people were navigating the DDI. When classes are back in session in the fall this should lead to massive improvements up and down University.

United Club access

So what is the actual rule on club access? I ask because I've had a couple passes in my wallet from explorer card benefits, and never had a decent opportunity to use them until this trip. Connected in Denver each direction, so decided on the first layover to check it out. Instruction on the pass said to tap the club pass, then the boarding pass. The club pass was rejected so I just tried the boarding pass and was let in. My wife behind me tapped her boarding pass, and was also let in. Figured it'd remove the club pass from my wallet, but on the way home they were still there so we went again, tapped boarding passes and had lunch. A little confused as to why we were given access this way. Is there any other thing that grants this I may have but am missing? These were cheap economy tickets.

Started having connectivity issues last evening, and pretty much unusable by this morning. I am using bypass mode on a gen3, and going through a pfsense router for the house. Tried a few things, and finally decided to factory reset the starlink out of bypass mode, and everything works perfectly fine in router mode. Excellent throughput, even still going through the pfsense router with the same cables. Thought maybe it was just the reset that fixed the issue, so went back to bypass mode, and the problem returned.

I really don't want to leave things double NAT'd like this, and really don't want to be stuck with the starlink's limited router. Can't even change the subnet on it (even through it shows the ability to do so in the app).

Has anyone else experienced an issue recently like this? It's been working for many months prior to last night.
