[Free][IOS] TimeUp : Move to scroll, earn your screen time by being active

I’m building an app called TimeUp : Move to scroll , based on a simple idea:

You earn your screen time by being active.

Instead of giving yourself a fixed daily limit, TimeUp creates a screen-time balance that you can refill through real activity recorded by HealthKit.

For example, you can decide that:

  • 1 minute of exercise = 2 minutes of screen time
  • 1,000 steps = 5 minutes
  • Reaching your sleep goal = +20 minutes bonus
  • 10 minutes of meditation = +15 minutes

What I wanted to make different with TimeUp is the flexibility. You can build the system around your own habits: workouts, walking, daily step goals, sleep goals, meditation and other activity-based rules.

There are also Express Challenges: if your balance is empty and you really want a few extra minutes, you can do something like 5 push-ups or squats.

Everything is local on the iPhone.

Move, meditate, sleep well to earn your screen time [TestFlight]

I’m building TimeUp, currently available on TestFlight.

It’s based on a simple idea:

You earn your screen time by being active.

Instead of giving yourself a fixed daily limit, TimeUp creates a screen-time balance that you can refill through real activity recorded by HealthKit.

For example, you can decide that:

  • 1 minute of exercise = 2 minutes of screen time
  • 1,000 steps = 5 minutes
  • Reaching your sleep goal = +20 minutes

Samsung is already testing One UI 9 Watch for the Galaxy Watch 7

An internal One UI 9 Watch build has reportedly appeared on Samsung’s test servers for the Galaxy Watch 7.

There’s no confirmed release timeline or changelog yet, but it suggests Samsung is already working on bringing its next Wear OS update to older watches.

Hopefully this means the Watch 7 won’t have to wait too long after the Watch 9 launches.

[iOS][Free] [Update] Meet Rosetta, your personal memory for capturing voice notes, reminders, and links

Hi everyone,

I launched the first version of Rosetta, a personal memory app, two months ago.

Since then, I’ve received a lot of positive feedback and added many new features and improvements.

Rosetta is a personal memory app where you can save Markdown notes, reminders, and useful links in one place. You can capture information by typing or simply using your voice.

I built it because my notes, reminders, bookmarks, useful links, and valuable answers from ChatGPT and Claude were always scattered across different apps and conversations. I wanted one place where I could organize everything and quickly find it again.

What’s new:

  • Richer Home widgets
  • Better responsiveness on iPad and Apple silicon Macs
  • An improved Reader Mode
  • Improvements to Ask Rosetta, the personal assistant inside the app
  • An improved Markdown editor

Existing features:

  • Smart Voice Capture
  • Notes, reminders, and links in one place
  • A distraction-free Reader Mode for saved links
  • Links between related notes
  • A knowledge graph for exploring how your ideas are connected
  • Ask Rosetta, the integrated personal assistant
  • Apple Calendar integration
  • Apple Reminders import
  • MCP integration, allowing ChatGPT, Claude, or another MCP-compatible assistant to save important information directly into Rosetta

One of the features I’m most excited about is the MCP integration. While talking with ChatGPT or Claude, you can ask the assistant to save a useful answer, reminder, link, or piece of context directly into Rosetta.

Rosetta stores notes in Markdown, making it easier for AI assistants to read, update, and work with your information.

Coming soon:

  • Better Google Calendar integration, with two-way synchronization between Rosetta and Google Calendar
  • End-to-end encryption for private notes
  • More improvements based on user feedback

The app is currently free to use.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6771149420

I’m open to feedback. Thanks for checking it out!

What free voice note-taking apps are you using ?

I’m looking at lightweight apps for capturing notes by voice, especially apps that can also handle reminders, saved links, categories, tags, and search.

One app that matches this workflow is Rosetta: it lets you save notes, reminders, and links in one place, capture by voice or keyboard, organize with categories/tags, and search everything later. It’s currently free.

I’m curious what other people are using for this kind of workflow, especially if you rely on voice capture a lot.

[iOS][Free] Meet Rosetta, an app to capture notes, reminders, and links before you forget them.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been building Rosetta, a personal memory app. I
The is currently free to use.

The idea is simple: whenever you have a thought, a task, or a link you don’t want to lose, you can save it quickly by typing or using your voice. Rosetta turns that into notes, reminders, or saved links, then helps organize everything with categories and tags so it’s easier to find later.

I built it because my notes, reminders, links, and useful AI/chat answers were always scattered across different apps.

And one of the the best part is MCP integration. When you’re talking with ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant, you can ask the assistant to save the important part into Rosetta.

  • quick voice or keyboard capture
  • notes, reminders, and links in one place
  • categories and tags
  • fast search across everything
  • Integration with Claude/ChatGPT or another AI assistant through MCP

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6771149420

This is the first release.
Open to feedback. Thanks for checking it out.
