Student discount on Microsoft Certifications

Student discount on Microsoft Certifications

Hello guys, I discovered that you can get a student discount for Microsoft Certifications.

So I did these steps:
https://learn.microsoft.com/cs-cz/credentials/certifications/student-discounts#student-discounts

and set career as student, then I went to look for SC-300 certification and went to schedule the exam, the price is now USD 54.00.

But I didnt have to verify anywhere that i'm actually a student. If I buy it, do I have to verify at some point? seems weird to me that they didnt want any proof that i'm actually studying...

Issue with Embody

I don’t really know how to describe my issue, but basically after some movements the 1 joint pops out from the back and the back isn’t that much supportive then and also make sounds when reclining.

I can just pop it in and its fixed, but it will pop out in like an hour again… how would you fix this?

The chair is basically new, has warranty. But I don’t feel like it’s justified to send it back just because of this. Should I Glue it or ?

Someone has similar issue? The other “joints” are perfectly stuck there.

What is next for me?

So I passed CC (ISC2) and SC-200 (Microsoft).

I currently have about 8 months SOC experience and I’m thinking what certification I should get next.

I wanted to do Sec+ because its the “standard” in beginner Cybersecurity. But I don’t know if its worth it for me?

CC is basically a lot lighter Sec+ when I check the domains, but SC-200 is on the same difficulty as Sec+ imo.

Should I go with Sec+ anyway? Or try CySa? But I think CySa might be too hard for me since I don’t have any CompTia exam style cert yet. Please give me suggestions guys what I should do next. I’m also taking SC-300 sometimes this year, but that’s because of work and not really my decision x)

Or maybe do some practical cert like BTL/ CCDL?

Thanks for suggestions in advance!

Ideal CV

As the title says, can you guys please send some CV, that is ideal?

There are always posts about "whats wrong with my CV" etc., but I would like to see the perfect CV. Of course depends on the content, but at least the structure how should ideal CV look?

You dont have to post your CVs ofc, there can be fictional informations. I rather want to see the structure than content.

A classic - Aeron vs Embody

Hey guys

I’m 180cm, 75-85kg (depends on the season).

I tried both chairs, Embody and Aeron B. I went to the showroom expecting to 100% take the Embody.
After setting up the Aeron, it felt more comfortable for me. Honestly, the mesh was softer than the Embody seat for some reason, which I didn’t understand.

So, the Aeron was more comfortable for me. But of course I can’t simulate how exactly I sit at home, and I’m really worried about how will the Aeron feel after 5+ hours compared to the Embody. I have a feeling that Aeron was initially more comfortable, but the longer I sit I might get more annoyed/uncomfortable.

I sit 3-12 hours at home every day. I work, game and also watch movies on computer.

I like to sit with my back reclined and my feet up on the table when I’m watching movies/browsing the web.
I like to sit with my ankles crossed, but I don’t ever sit with crossed legs, or with legs on the seat, as my chair/legs don’t really allow that at the moment.

Btw - do you also have a feeling that Aeron build quality feels 3x more premium?

Steelcase, Therapia...
