I got feedback from a beta reader, female, 60+, not into fantasy, that for her it was hard to follow my ensemble. I myself thought I had taken it easy, but, well eye of the beholder! 😅 So, for an epic story with a handful of main characters and around 25 side characters, should I add a list? I am considering putting a few names up front, especially those who appear in the beginning and add a more comprehensive list in the back? I appreciate any feedback!
