📌 I got tired of forgetting what I was planning, so I made Planboard
I kept noticing little things I wanted to fix or come back to later in my CS2 cities, but once I moved on to another part of the map, I’d often forget about them...
I'd see a junction I wanted to redo, notice some odd bit of road, or think “yeah, I'll come back to that later.”
Then I'd wander off, spend half an hour building somewhere else and completely forget where it was. 😅
So I made Planboard.
It's basically a to do list that lives with your city.
📍You can just jot something down, or stick it to an actual place on the map. A road, building, district, or just a spot on the ground. Then when you come back later, you know what you meant to do and where you meant to do it.
Right now you can:
• Add issues, notes and ideas
• Pin them to roads, buildings, districts or anywhere on the map
• Mark what you're doing, what matters most, and when you want to get back to it
• Search and sort through everything later
• Keep pins as small icons or open them up as sticky notes
I just released this to public, so this is exactly the point where I'd love people to poke holes in it.
If something feels odd, takes too many clicks, breaks, or you find yourself thinking “why can't I just do this?”, let me know.
I'm making it because I want it in my own cities too, so good ideas have a decent chance of ending up in the mod. 🙂
Small note on how it was built: I did use AI coding tools quite a bit. I’m not a stranger to coding or data structures though. I can read code quite a bit, so I’m still the one steering it, testing it, debugging it, and deciding what actually ships.

Hopefully it saves a few junctions from being forgotten forever. 😄
