Last week, after a discussion involving all the family and me siding with my father, I (37F) was let on a secret I've never ever been told. Apparently when my brother was a toddler my father used to behave weirdly around him, and it escalated into an incident in which my father had my brother onto his lap and then put his hands between my brother's thighs.

My brother told my mom "dad touched my ..... " and my parents had a discussion in which my father said he was just "warming up his hands".

As far as I know atm it's the only incident tho I don't hide that I've always had this slimy feelings towards my father for unknown reasons, and I've always tried to get over this unjustified (till now??) feeling.

I don't want to talk to my father anymore and I won't visit him (divorced parents) in two weeks when I'll go back home.

Am I overreacting? How inappropriate is this? He's really good with words btw so if I ask him I have 0 doubts he'd be able to talk his way out no matter what
