First Composition in a While

I've had a bit of a block recently and have really struggled to complete any music. For that reason I decided to just get something finished and uploaded so that I can hopefully get back into composing semi-regularly. Could I get your opinions on the piece, it's a solo piece for flute in ternary form. I've never composed a completely monophonic piece before so it was a learning experience for me! It's probably not the best but as I said, I just wanted to finish something.

Short, light-hearted play adaptation ideas for school competition

Every year my school hosts a drama competition and this year I am directing one of the shows. I need to adapt a pre-existing play/story/film into a comedic script that's less than 20 mins long, I will need to cast around 10-20 people (all boys though a few are allowed to cross-dress ). Does anyone have any good ideas? From memory past groups have done Teachers, Ratatouille, Macbeth (completely butchered it but that's why it did well), snow white, peter pan, Christmas Carol gone wrong, Harry Potter and Frozen (with a passionate rendition of Let it Go included). There's a lot of variety which is why I'm stuck, once I chose an idea it'll be fine. Often the comedy comes from something being so bad that its good (within reason). Usually very little effort is put into preparing the plays from limited costumes, lighting, sound and rehearsals. I appreciate that my description is probably very unhelpful but it's one of those things that cannot really be described, you need to be there to really understand the vibe.

One idea I've had is an adaptation of Madagascar, completely butchering the story (don't know how as I haven't thought that far). I want to try and include a song for comedic effect and for Madagascar it could be Alex singing a bit from Memory while in exile (preferably in a falsetto). I don't know how the story could be condensed but the script quality doesn't need to be amazing, as long as its funny. I will be adapting/writing a script myself which again gives me too much choice if anything. Is this idea any good?

Please help me!!!

Can I access my Music Practical Mark Sheet?

My music performance at was a definite weak point of my AS levels this year. Is there a way to gain access to my mark bands or mark sheets or whatever it would be called so I can know what to improve? I thought I did really well but my mark didn't reflect how I feel, I also had no problem with my GCSE performance so I want to know what (if anything specific) I can improve for this coming year. If I can get access, how do I do so? Would I send in an access to script form?

Would a MacBook Neo be good enough to run MuseScore?

My PC has just died and I want to get a laptop to replace it. I am on a budget but I want something that can easily run MuseScore and allow for me to do complex stuff on it (large ensembles and stuff like that). I am considering the MacBook Neo because I find Apple easier to work with but I'm unsure if it will run properly/effectively. Would I be better getting a windows laptop? Here are the Neo specs:

A18 Pro chip
6 core CPU
5 core GPU
8GB memory / RAM
256GB storage

I have read the required specifications in the MuseScore website but the laptop seems to be on the cusp (at least in terms of memory/RAM) so I wanted some extra advice. Any help would be much appreciated, especially from anyone who uses a MacBook Neo.

Thank you!

Will I be able to get a job?

I am currently taking my A Levels (Maths, Physics, Music and Drama) and I want to go on and become a teacher in the future. I would love to be able to teach music and drama together, getting a joint honours before a PGCE in one of them. Am I realistically going to be able to get a job? I know that I would have better chances teaching maths or science but I really don't see myself doing that. I am from Northern Ireland, would I be better off going to England first? If I do go for it, what would be the best way to get a job (do I do a music or drama PGCE for example)?

What's the process for planning, writing and publishing a play?

This may have been asked before but I cannot for the life of me find a similar question. Please could you give your answers in as much detail as you can as I don't really know where to start.

Do employees get to watch the shows?

I was just wondering if all the employees at a theatre get to watch the show. At my local ones, the staff who help you find your seats would typically stay I think (I'm not 100% sure though as I am usually paying attention to what's happening on stage). Do the other employees who work the ticket offices and stuff get to watch performances? Is there a rotation of who performs what duty and therefore gets to watch the shows? Please let me know what country you are from if you're willing as I'm curious how this might differ between different places.
