Housing waitlist question

I just finished my housing application, and it says I’m number 2,600 on the waitlist (yikes)

But on the FAQ it says it prioritized first year undergrads, does this mean despite my waitlist spot I have higher priority? Or are all these people also first years?

Also am I cooked? Will I get residence? ☹️

What nail shape would suit my nails the best?

I’ve never gotten my nails done before but I’m hoping to soon, and I was wondering what nail shape would look the best on my hands?

I like the look of coffin/ballerina nails but I heard square shaped nails don’t look great on people with rounder cuticles or something. Thoughts?

products to maximize softness in hair

texture: straight

density: medium/dense (fine hair but not thick)

treated: virgin (natural)

I want to make my hair as soft as it possibly can be, like touching a cloud. I'm softmaxxing as my generation might say. what products have you guys used that make your hair light yet really soft? an issue I usually run into is that all the recommended products I get are too heavy and my hair just ends up being weighed down.

currently I use; Pantene Sheer volume shampoo, dove intensive repair hair mask, OGX bond repair leave-in spray and the olaplex no.7 hair oil, as well as coconut oil in my hair before I wash it. I'm mostly looking for conditioner and oil recommendations because I really like my shampoo and leave-in.

“Gender wars this!”

“Politics that!”

“Hot take this!”

“Controversial opinions that!”

“Debate debate debate debate debate”

Guys. You are on the internet people can say whatever they want whenever they want, and many people will comment radical things or radical opinions because online spaces (especially reddit) let’s you hide behind a type of anonymity to say whatever you want

Have you ever considered these debates affect your mental health negatively? Consuming all these debates, especially about gender and something so deeply personal to us that it does damage to the way tot see the real world? Ask any person who’s not chronically online, many of these debates are just intense for no reason. Most regular people respect each other normally.

The only reason you keep seeing and hearing all this negativity is because you consume it online, and then that causes you to seek it out in real life.

So get a hobby, go hang out with some friends, play some video games, decompress and focus on yourself. When you’re a happier person, people want to be around you more, and you won’t see a need to debate over stuff you will never be truly able to control ever.

I want to go to Guelph, but man I didn’t expect at all to actually get into Mac, especially such a small program !! (My avg is 88, EC’s only theatre, did DECA once in grade 11)

I’m a senior student who’s considering what university I go to, I couldn’t find a clear answer online about what the limits are to doing a double major

The internet tells me I can double major, but I saw an old Reddit post saying you can’t double major in two different bachelors degrees (like both have to be a BSc or BA).

▲ 4 r/tea

I just started drinking tea recently and I haven’t perfected my method yet, but I was looking for ways to best sweeten my tea because for some reason every time I add in even a teaspoon of sugar, it feels like it cancels out the flavour and just tastes like water. (Maybe this means I should leave the bag in for longer?)

How do you guys sweeten your tea? I don’t need a ton of sweeter, just a little to make it drinkable

I would share a picture of my dress but as the title implies I don’t want to get DMed by creeps, so I’m going to try and give an in depth description of the important info

I need a makeup look that will go good with my prom dress

The dress is emerald green (colour picker #00674F) and strapless with a sequin glittery corset and silky skirt

As for my skin, I’m very pale and cool toned (Light summer if you’re into the ‘colour analysis’ stuff) and I have natural blonde hair that’s about a level 8-9 that’s got a slightly warmer tint to it

I was thinking of doing a bold red lip to go with the green dress, but otherwise I don’t know what else to do makeup wise that’ll make me look the best.

“Guess my gender based on my hands” “can you guess my gender based on ___”

YES WE CAN, women and men have fundamentally different bone structures and fat distribution in all areas of our body, there are very little body parts that are ambiguous to gender, it’s so dumb, like do you guys seriously want attention that bad 😭

For people who have skin very prone to stubborn bumps, what shaving methods/routine have worked best for you? I’m about to go shopping and buy some stuff since summer is approaching,

I have VERY sensitive skin that will get bumpy if I literally touch it, aswell as Keratosis Pilaris. Any help?
