There seems to be a contradictuon in the lore.

Most of it leans toward many of the still living Thayans, Red Wizards are not, being in exile with Thay largely being an empire of the undead, although there are still living there.

Szass Tak has destroyed the old zulkir system and largely replaced it with fellow liches.

Yet I read something official recently, which describes Thay as. It being much different than it was before. Don't remember what it was at the moment. It was official however

What's going on here? Both Thays can't be true in 1500-1501.

Why is it, people seem to think what's happened and is happening to Karen Read and Lindsay Clancy is unusual?

Here in the so-called land of the free and the home of the brave, cops and DAs are doing this sort of thing to your fellow Americans each and every day.

I mean completely innocent Americans, not just those who have actually done "something". And even with those who have done "something", it's SOP to overcharge people to EXTORT them into taking a plea.

Specifically, in the Karen Read situation, I guarantee you the original plan was to blame whatever plowman happened along. Lucky got LUCKY. He's not a reasonably attractive woman with any personal wealth or wealthy folks. He would have been SCREWED.

Karen and Lindsay are just televised and they have the means to fight.

These guys came up when science was still taught. Not so much now, unfortunately.

I would love a remake of the Legend of Vox Machina theme song, the one from most of the seasons, the last was slightly different.

Remake it with much more horns and brass, especially french horns and trumpets replacing a lot of the strings.

After the comms blackout and 13 reestablished radio contact with Houston, they still didn't know if the parachutes were frozen or if they would deploy.

13 and her crew could have crashed into the water north of 200mph live on international TV! It would have been a helluva tragedy that after all everyone in space and on the ground went through, it ended with the guys having eyes on home.

I'm sure they would have cut the audio feed the moment Houston found out there was no chute and no saving the crew, but I wonder if they would have cut the video?

I think way back in those days the networks (all three of them. Three!) depended on a single feed from NASA.

Can someone from around those times or knowledgeable verify that?

It wasn't that long ago that dwarves were minor level walking anti-magic zones, other than clerical magic.

Add to this how tradition minded they are.

Elevated the popularity of gnomes. I played different flavors of dnd for ages never have had a gnome player. Not even NPCs that often popped up.
