Car recommendation

I need to upgrade to another car for my family. I do atleast 300kms in a month and have 60 percent city (I live in a rural area so there is no traffic or any crowd but roads are good) drive and 40 percent highway runs.

I prefer sedans more to SUVs and hence have shortlisted both body types.

Current Car: Hyundai i10Nios Petrol MT 50k kms

Budget:

10 - 20 lakhs

Requirements:

  1. Safety

  2. Ride quality and handling balance ( current car bounces a lot on undulations, highway expansion joints or while going above 70kmph, although doesn’t looses confidence)

  3. Space and comfort

  4. High speed stability (i don’t do triple digits but on some occasions I do around 100kmph)

  5. Performance

Shortlisted Cars

  1. Honda city MT
  2. Skoda Slavia (Virtus too) 1L for both (I can go with AT but prefer MT)
  3. Honda elevate MT
  4. Skoda kushaq 1L

I am skeptical about the current petrol situations also but having a second car will help me on highway runs, like having enough torque to overtake on 2 lane roads and maintaining 80-90kmph without bouncing and so on.

iPhone 17, is the BATTERY LIFE good?

I am using iPhone 17 256GB from 9th july' 25. This is my first iPhone so getting anxious whether the battery life i.e.the SOT I am getting is good or not.

iOS version: 26.5.2

Usage: Medium including, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Amazon Prime, normal web surfing and calling. I don't do gaming.

Charging habit: limited at 80%, AOD is off, autobrightness is on, and I plug it in around 25-30%

How do you guys with the incoming traffic with that high beam?

I have been driving for the past 6 years now and driven more than 60,000kms (I may be an amateur in this, but I am not boasting about it either).

There are a lot of problems with the people driving here in India, namely: lane discipline, no indicators, no working rear lights, unnecessary honking and so on. But the only thing which bothers me is the High Beam.

Whenever I drive on 2 lane roads, oncoming traffic never switches to low beam 99% of the time, despite the fact of giving them a dipper politely to switch. Truck drivers, bus drivers, even small cars like Alto, Omni have high intensity lights installed and they don't give a **** to switch to low beam.

I want to know what is the solution to this and what should I do in such situations when I can't see a thing in front of these stupids?

How do the experienced drivers here, deal with or do in this situation?

Is this SOT good or bad?

I bought the iPhone 17 256GB 4 days ago and it's the 3rd charge. I am following 20:80 rule. AOD is off, refresh rate is not limited to 60hz, I don't do gaming, but normal stuff like Insta, WhatsApp, YouTube, chrome, safari and all those stuff.

And I have an automation that whenever battery equals 30%, it turns on.

PS: It's my first iPhone so any tips or suggestions will be appreciated.
