My Dad asked me to stitch his favorite patch on his jacket today. It’s an original Sgt. Pepper’s patch he bought in 1965. It’s on probably the 3rd jacket it’s been on. The embroidery on this thing is nuts! Looks super fucking cool.
Made a pot of Borrachos and some carnitas. Goes great together.

Mostly kidding, but wanted to show off the new awesome patch my wife gave me. She knows how much this man’s music means to me, so I had to throw it on.
I know he’s not metal, but he’s about as close to my soul as it gets.
Started this one when I ended up with too many for my last one. You know how that goes.🙄

Smoky meat, fresh pico, quality tortillas. Simple, but delicious. By far my favorite application for pulled pork.
Smoked two pork shoulders last night with some gnarly seasoned pecan. I make my own rub using chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt. Smoked for 9 hours at around 225°. No mop. Came out great.
I’m done working on it anyway. I might throw any patches that come my way on the sides, but I think it has enough shit on it for now.
It has some real “presence” in person, and I’m finally happy with it.
