My TikTok FYP keeps recommending evangelical pastors and churches. Sometimes to admire them, sometimes to mock them. But I almost never get Catholic content. Evangelicals are also gaining political power across Latin America.

This reminds me of declassified Cold War history: the CIA and US policy promoted Protestant/evangelical churches in the region to counter Liberation Theology and leftist movements. Is a softer version happening now through algorithms and US funding? I’m not claiming direct CIA proof today, but the pattern is hard to ignore.

The percentages there are low compared to other countries and they don't have the same political influence as in other countries.

Something weird happened to me today while my boss was talking to me. I suddenly noticed several patterns and connections between things really quickly. For a moment, it felt like I was processing everything clearly.

But then the patterns just disappeared from my mind

I couldn't remember exactly what I had noticed or how I had connected everything.

I feel like this also affects my learning. Sometimes I can understand a concept or notice a relationship pretty quickly, but because I have trouble holding information in working memory, I lose the insight before I can fully process it or remember it.

It's almost like my brain can detect the pattern, but can't keep it loaded long enough to use it.

Does anyone with SCT experience something similar?

A raiz del ultimo capitulo de la serie de chespirito, se me ocurrió la idea del post.

Ése capitulo fue un antes y despues en la serie, y el principio del fin. y por dios que se trabajó bien en la serie.

A raíz de eso, se me ocurrió la pregunta, si les ha pasado algo similar, o de la misma vibra, con algun grupo de amigos? que hubieran tensiones previas, y despues de dicha junta pasó algo donde nunca más se juntaron, o quizas todo estaba bien, y quizas otro se fue a vivir a otra región, o pasó alguna tragedia, quién sabe.

yo he tenido algunos momentos similares, buenos y malos. pero el sentimiento común es la nostalgia, de cómo todo estaba "mejor" antes de. o que quizas lo que pasó fue para mejor para cada una de las partes.
