Saw Keychron released K5 Ultra as an upgrade to the old K5 max, anyone have experience on the new model? Especially the typing feel and sound which is kinda weak point on the old model
I want to remap the number pad keys on my Node 100 when numlock is turned off to make it become a macro pad, so that when numlock is turned on it is a number pad and when turned off it is a macro pad, without affect the typing area. However, Nuphy IO only shows the key mapping of number pad when numlock is on, without allowing me to change the default behaviour (default to be arrow and pgup, pgdn keys) of these number keys when numlock is off.
I have also considered assigning macros to them in another layer, but seems there is no toggle key for layer but only holding a key to activate that layer, which means I need to press Fn+ number keys to use that macro every time which is quite inconvenient. Does anyone know a better way to do it?

Got the set today and used for a few hours on my Q3HE, they feel premium and comfortable to touch. They feel drier than the plastics ones and better for my sweaty fingers. And the shine through effect is excellent!
Sound wise they have deeper tone, I don’t know how to describe the sound when combining with the HE switches, it’s kinda weird? I am going to swap the aluminium plate to POM or FR4, let’s see how the sound will change.
My keyboard is Keychron Q3HE, and the large keys with stabilisers are making some weird sound, they feels like there is a stage of friction before bottoming out, when I press it when very gentle force the keys can be pressed down a little bit and making a little hitting sound and stopped by the friction. I am not sure whether it is the correct way to describe, it feels a little bit tactile while the switches are linear HE switches. I have lubed all the switches and stabilisers recently and this weird sound is still here.
The space bar is stock keycap and the rest are third party keycaps, I have swapped the keycaps multiple times to try different kinds of keycaps, not sure does it matter to the weird sound or maybe the stabilisers are damaged during the swapping process?
Logitech just released G512X TMR, the light bar at the front with the translucent palm rest looks stunning. And TMR is used in this keeb, they finally made an interesting keyboard! From the YouTube review, sound is not bad although not the best , would be better if it support wireless connection
