Anyone else feel like it's surprisingly hard to meet new people here?
Not necessarily dating or networking — just people with different interests who you can actually talk to regularly.
I've been thinking about how cool it would be to have a small group of Moroccans who are into different things — music, gaming, tech, art, books, random deep conversations, whatever — and just let the group grow naturally.
Curious if anyone else would be interested in something like that?

Being honest about who you are hasn't actually helped me build real relationships—it's pushed people away

I've been trying to be clear and honest about my personality. About what I actually care about, what I think, what I'm struggling with. Not filtering it. Showing up as I actually am—good parts and bad parts.
But here's what's happening: it's not working.
When I'm honest about who I am, people disconnect. They don't stick around. Or they're cool with a surface-level version of me, but the moment I'm real about anything deeper, it feels like they're out.
I'm starting to wonder: is being authentic actually the way to build real relationships? Because for me, it's been doing the opposite.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Maybe the timing's off. Maybe people around me just aren't looking for real connections. Or maybe being yourself and actually having people want to know you are two different things.
I don't know if it's worth continuing to be this honest when the result is just more isolation.
Has anyone else experienced this? Like you tried being real with people and it just... didn't work? What did you do?
No More Isolation..
Hey Everyone, I'm thinking to found someone talk to share thoughts with and why not create and build something together, so I'm 23 yo guy, trying to found love somewhere I don't interact in social stuff I'm an introvert, but Im trying to make balance in social interactions etc.., so the question is how can I found love, should I let it came by it self, cuz I'm just staying home I don't go somewhere where I can get opportunities and also when I did there's no interactions socially in it Soo I would know is there a way to connect, I don't believe on chasing numbers on street or something like that.
Looking for connection..
