Im curious which side (Rep/Dem) is more brainwashed, who can genuinely steelman the opposing sides views?

Im not asking you to insult them, or create the dumbest caricature you can imagine in order to feel like your sides stances hold up. Im asking who can articulate the opposing sides views in a way that a majority on that side would say, "yup, thats exactly how I feel and why I vote for my candidate"

No explaining why theyre dumb for thinking that way.. or secretly evil. Just wanting you to explain the oppositions views in a way theyd support, to see if either side REALLY understands each other or if its all just people brainwashed into believing the dumbest more evil versions of their political opposition without ever actually listening to them.

Are most Americans toxic when it comes to politics or just the loud minority online?

I find it hard to believe an entire country can be so brainwashed and toxic. The vast generalizations about 100 million people at a time. Sweeping allegations that the other side are voting the way they do because of the most evil of intentions rather than assuming they are voting for what they believe is the best option based on their own individual priorities/likely outcome. Assuming one side identifies with all the worst possible traits of their candidate rather than the best traits.

Its like Americans have given up on actually presenting the best policies and arguments for their side, and instead adopted the strategy of twisting words and trying to paint their political opponents as the worst possible humans imagineable. Are both sides policies really so bad that nobody can defend them without trying to strawman the other side and attack them on some personal false narrative in attempts to discredit them?

For people who want free "free healthcare", where do you personally draw the line?

A lot of countries who claim to have free Healthcare, tend to be heavily restricted (no dental for instance).

Obviously not ALL healthcare can be "free".. since theres not infinite tax dollars to support everyone getting perfect teeth or 5 million dollar surgies to slightly decrease their odds of an ailment. So where do you draw the line? What level of coverage would you say should be provided for free? Anything problem that has over a 0.001% fatality rate? 5%? 50%?

Costs less than 20k? 200k? 2 million?

Where do you specifically draw the line on free healthcare in a way that doesnt bankrupt everyone or allow for the abuse of the Healthcare system?

Why do i see so many people trying to sexualize Trump/MAGA?

It feels like every single political post i see is filled nothing but weird fetish comments. Someone says anything remotely positive about a billionaire.. "hes not going to let you suck his dick".. all the cartoons/memes are something to do with Trump pissing on MAGA or having them eat his ass. Everyone on the left refers to him as "daddy trump" when talking to people on the right.

I feel like hypersexualizing politics says more of the person saying it than anything. For instance if i tell a girl "anytime a guy opens a door for you it means they want you to fuck them".. now every time I open a door for someone, you know my true intentions.

If you think "saying something nice about someone means you want to suck their dick".. all that really seems to say is "if I say something nice to someone its bc I have a secret agenda of wanting to get sexual with them"

Can't we just, idk, talk like adults with reasonable arguments supporting our opinions rather than try to turn everything into a sexual fetish?

The ultimate open source guide to choosing the right vaping/smoking device.

Theres a million threads with a million answers. Lets compile them for the future psychonauts and at the very least give them a launch pad.

What are your favorite devices to smoke from? We will have different categories. Up vote the ones you agree with in the comments so they make it to the top. Be specific.

Categories:

1.) Crème de la crème - This is for the absolute most perfect device youve ever experienced. No cost too high, no size too big, no restrictions. Just the best possible smoke.

2.) Budget - No more than $50. Whats the best device that wont break the bank?

3.) Custom - If youre willing to swap some parts around to make it perfect, this is the ultimate Frankenstein Rig.

4.) Off the shelf - We are too lazy or confused to change things around. This one is the best device straight out of the box. Open it, load it, smoke it.

5.) Portable/discrete - it fits in your pocket, and its easy to share with friends on the go without multiple other tools needed to load/make work.

Obviously some devices may work in multiple categories. Great. Give them the props they deserve and state which ones you believe they rank king. Any explanations you want to provide as to what makes them stand out to you are welcome. Knowledge is power or something like that.

How many people believe the entities are "real" vs theyre simply our own manifestations?

As far as i can tell, humans are insanely good at recognizing faces. We are wired to do it. Heck, we find them in toast or couch cushions when we're sober.

Add infinite fractals and patterns, and it isnt hard for your mind to see things in the shapes and run with it.

Then discover insights one might have when your ego is dissolved, and its not hard to imagine we are simply finding profound truths within ourselves, and attaching those truths to the images and entities we find in the patterns we see.

Ive done DMT more times than I can count, but ever since coming to the belief that its 100% my egoless/honest subconscious im communicating with while tripping, and I feel like my experiences have become much more easy to navigate and use as a tool. For instance going in with intent, but knowing these arent supreme beings bestowing profound wisdom on me.. but rather, my most honest version of myself communicating with me and answering my questions.

Anyway, I could be totally wrong about everything, but im curious statistically how many people who do DMT believe they are talking to entities outside of themselves vs how many believe it to just be an internal dialogue with yourself

Which hero would level up the most by having Batmans strategic mind?

I feel like Green Lantern would be an entirely different animal with Batmans strategy. Who else would likely become a whole new tier of hero?

Whats a matchup where a much weaker opponent would likely win over a much more powerful opponent simply bc of stylistic match up/the weaker ones powers being super effective in that scenario?

Whats a seemingly low level power that if used the right way could be God tier?

An example of one that youve always thought "if I had that power Id just..." but the hero/villain never seems to unlock the strategy so it remains way underpowered.

Democrats, what things are "too far left" for you?

I hear all the time that American Democrats arent REALLY left. So Im curious how far left would you need to go on policies before you decide "thats where I draw the line"

Whats a left leaning policy youd find too far and cause you to not support the party?

Are American politics 100% confirmation bias at this point?

It seems like every american I hear online has the most extreme bad faith arguments about how their side is good and the other side is evil. Is this due to algorithms pushing their preferred extreme narrative onto their page and them not realizing how algorithms work? Are they all just searching "why is my side right on xyz" without realizing how the internet search results work?

Ive never seen such extreme polarizing (idiotic) takes by such a large group of people. Its like they all just find the piece of information on the internet that makes their side look the best and say "yup, thats the one i choose to believe"..

I dont see other countries (outside of North Korea) this convinced by propoganda, yet its like every single American is convinced of the dumbest propoganda they can find on their side

How many reps do you do in class for new moves?

My gym is about as laid back as it gets. And when it comes time to rep the new move of the day, I typically just let the guys pair up and rep however many times they want. Some guys do it maybe 5 times, others do it dozens. Just depends who it is and how serious they are.

I personally dont care either way since everyone is an adult, and can choose to put whatever level of effort they prefer into their jiujitsu. Heck, maybe they dont even like jiujitsu and just enjoy having a place to hang out.

But Im curious to know what the average amount of reps are that you do when learning a new move in class and what it might look like across different belt levels.

Looking to make more than the market cap of the company.

Its simple..

Bynd goes up, I cash out and buy all the stocks for myself and hoard them like a vegan Dragon.

Bynd goes down, I blame MM and screech about manipulation. Its a win/win.

Labels for organizing types if first aid equipment?

Sorry if this isnt the place for this. But it seems like the most qualified subreddit for the question.

I have a cabinet with roughly 10 "sections" to be used for emergency first aid equipment.

Id like to have it labeled in a way that a random person can quickly and easily find what they need.

Id like to organize it with images that explain what each section has in it. For instance an image of a bone for splints and equipment used for broken bones. And image of an arm with a cut on it for bandages and stitches. Lungs for breathing equipment. Etc.

Is there a set of universal labels I can use that already exist for this purpose? Or is this going to be a thing I juat DIY?

edit: Also apparently I cant spell. My bad
