First ENM experience and I fear things are more than casual

My girlfriend (F22) and me (M21) have been dating for almost 3 years now. I love her with all my heart, and our relationship is really great in many ways. Since we started dating we have been talking about ENM since we're both bisexual so we have had several experiences with other couples/threesomes. Which has been really great but we both also wanted to have some personal hook ups/fwb.

After searching for a while to find the right person I had my first hook up yesterday morning. We met online and they lived really close. We had a date or 2 were we just got to know eachother cause we were both a bit nervous and we have also been chatting a lot online. We had a lot of fun yesterday and decided there will probably be a next time.

Now the thing is, im no stranger to hook ups. I've had many personal hook ups before I met my GF and during our relationship we had some intimate relationships with others (never alone tho, always together). And never have I had feelings or that weird tingly butterfly like feeling about someone before. But my hookup from yesterday won't leave my mind. I feel like a teenage girl watching my phone waiting for his replies, keep thinking about him with a stupid grin on my face, and god. I dont know what this is.

I know i dont love my girlfriend any less, but this feeling is really confusing me and I can't help but feeling like this is going to be a problem. Or maybe im just imagining things, after all, its the first time Ive had a personal experience like this in 3 years or so.

Are there others that have experienced this? Should I just break it off and try to forget about this? The idea alone makes me just feel terribly sad but continueing would be wrong right?

I should probably talk to my girlfriend about this but I want to do this in person and she doesnt get home till Tuesday. Meanwhile im a wreck and want some advice?

How to stop hyperfixation on new cat

About 2 months ago we got a new cat. 4.5 months old, male. We noticed that he was quite lonely, so we recently adopted a second cat. A 11 week old female.

We introduced slowly, but once they were introduced all they did was play. It ended up being too much play so we frequently had to seperate them. Everytime they are in the same room they play. Nothing else.

Now everytime they play the older resident cat wont stop trying to play with the younger cat. It is genuine play, not fighting. (Lots of belly flopping, and no hissing/meowing, mostly sheated claws). And the younger cat initiates a lot too, it's pretty 50/50 up till the end. At first they play really nicely. My male cat can play roughly with us for example, but he is a lot more gentle with her since she is smaller and slightly younger.

However, at one point, she is just done with him and wants to rest. He doesnt understand that. So she takes more drasticate measures, like hissing and hitting him harder. He somehow reads those signs as 'lets play more roughly'. And we have to seperate them. And it always escalates eventually.

We seperate them each time the playing goes on for too long. And try to reintroduce them, as some sites suggested to break hyperfixation, but the moment they see eachother they play again. No matter how long or short their time out was.

How do we break this cycle? How do I teach my male that she's saying stop? And how do I get them to stop playing the moment they see eachother?

Just got my first milipedes - but the condition they came in is bad :(

I just picked up my first milipedes (anadenobolus molinicornis) from a expo. Ill start with saying im really new to both milipedes and isopods. But i did research beforehand and i came across these puppies and really wanted to take them home. The breeder said they were an awesome beginner species, so it sounded perfect. He provided me with some really good and elaborate care instructions etc which all sounded exactly like the research i had done, which for me was a green flag.

However, i just wanted to transfer them into their enclosure but i found some bad things in the soil they came in. Atleast, i think theyre bad.

- small white isopods. I keep these my self as cleaners for my reptiles so i regonized them instantly. Their whole container was full of them. (See picture). I was under the impression isopods and milipedes are not to be kept together at all, due to isopods being able to eat/harm their exoskeleton, especially during molting.

- one milli appeared to have some tiny bugs walking over it. I tried to film it but it was too tiny. I looked at it really well and honestly it could be anything. It was about the size of a springtail, so it could be that, or a baby isopod or maybe a parasite? But im not familair with parasites and millies. Ill update with a pic as soon as I have one but I brushed it off with a soft brush and put the millie with the others.

- some soil appeared to have some cocospete in it. Im not entiterly sure but it stood out to me since i know how bad this can be for millies.

- i also found a caterpillar in the soil... The breeder also sold some lunar moths, so maybe it could be that or smth else? The caterpillar is too tiny to id, but its def a caterpillar.

Bcs of all this i decided to put them in a temporarily enclosure. I didnt put any of their own soil with my own in all hopes the isopods are contained.

Right now im a bit worried about my millies. Is there anything i can do to ensure they survive? Or am i worrying about nothing? Any advice or help would be really great

Moving soon: advice on how to safely move my gecko's

Hello! Im moving to another city soon. Which is about 1.5 hours away. We will be moving somewhere mid june/beginning of july. So its gonna be warm outside (expecting around 30°c atleast, but we'll try to plan on the coolest day). Im currently working on a moving plan to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

The thing im a bit unsure about are my gecko's (and my frog). I currently have 7 crested geckos, 1 gargoyle, and 2 terrariums full with mourning geckos. They are all currently in a shelving unit/rack cabinet (dont know the exact translation) which is not the easiest to assemble and reassemble.

They all have their own terrariums but 2 cresties and my gargoyle are due for an upgrade. I wanted to combine this with moving to make it less stressful. Moving first, and then moving into another enclosure a couple of weeks/months later seems like more stress than doing it at the same time. Especially because one of the cresties and the gar are very sensitive and it took them quite a while to get adjusted after i bought them. But i also dont want to put of moving them into something bigger much longer. I need some opinions on what might be the better option.

Also any advice and or tips on how to take them with me and make it the least stressful for them. And some tips on how to safely take their enclosures with me as well.

Current plan is to move them in plastic tubs with some moss for moisture in a tempex box for temp regulation. Basically same way you'd buy them from an expo etc. id wanna do them at the last day of moving and making sure i got a whole day to dissassemble and then assemble their shelving unit to ensure they dont have to stay in the tubs too long.

any tips and or advice is very welcome!
