I've been using SkinAware which is really good although the premium plan is making me less inclined to use it. I know that apps have to make money somehow, but the fact it says "I'll be here whenever you need to surf the urge again" and then locks the activity behind a paywall is honestly really demotivating and makes me not want to use it. I also enjoy Calm Harm but I would like something specifically tailored to skin picking. I only have an android unfortunately. does anyone have recommendations?

I just picked the game back up after a long time away. I'm just wondering if there's any way to get the orange slices and orange syrup from the past event, because I can buy the mint syrup from the ingredients shop, which I understand is also from a past event, but not the oranges? ty!

hi!! I'm new to davinci, and I'd like to create a text effect where the text flies in and sort of sways up and down and sideways a little bit like ocean waves or wind is buffeting it. I've been messing with peturb modifier but I can't get it exactly right and my text is always offscreen. I don't have an exact example of what I mean but hopefully someone gets what I mean?

I'm making a little map breaking down some of the major cthulhu mythos connections for a friend and I just realised that there are a couple of family names that Lovecraft repeats a few times across stories. There's Richard Upton Pickman in Pickman's Model, The Thing on the Doorstep is narrated by Daniel Upton & the main character is named Edward Pickman Derby, and there's also the Nathaniel Derby Pickman Foundation that's mentioned in Mountains of Madness. Are they all connected or did Lovecraft just like to reuse names?

This is for a novel I'm drafting. Part of my main character's backstory is that he was raised by his maternal grandfather after his mother passed away and his father was abusive. He's 17 years old in 1909 when his grandfather dies, and my character inherits his grandfather's house and all his money and possessions. Does my character pay taxes on his inheritance? Sources I can find online are conflicted about Massachusetts estate tax before 1916 (there was one, there wasn't one, there was but it only applied to collateral heirs, etc). Also, is the situation affected by him being under 18 (or 21) at the time of his grandfather's passing? (The plot kind of hinges on him using some of the inheritance money for university, and living in his grandfather's house while he attends university.) Does my character's father (grandfather's son-in-law) have any viable claim at all to any of it (setting up potential future conflict)? I'd say the value of the house is about $4,000 US 1909 dollars, if that's relevant. Thanks in advance!

Spoilers obviously. I just finished reading Whisperer in Darkness for the first time and really enjoyed it. I noticed a tiny detail in 'Akeley's' final letter that I don't see anyone else talking about and that I think is really cool. Whoever is writing the letter in Akeley's place slips up and accidentally refers to the Outer Ones as 'we', rather than 'they' as he has done throughout the rest of the letter:

>Telepathy is their usual means of discourse, though we have rudimentary vocal organs...

I thought this was a neat little clue. Between this and spelling 'Akeley' wrong on the telegram, you would have thought that interdimensional cosmic entities would do better copyediting.
