21 cx5 n/a fwd 71k miles. Oil consumption?

Been noticing the engine being 1 qt low at the 5k mile change interval (i religiously have it changed at the dealer every 5k miles). Is this normal for the 2.5 n/a? I still have cpo warranty for 29k more miles through 4/28.

Roof leak! Any roofers you would recommend, that you trust?

I’m sure it’s time to get a new roof, but I just found 2 big wet spots in my ceiling. Any companies you recommend, bonus points if they offer financing for a complete replacement.

2 weeks post op, freedom and a clean bill of health!

Is there anything better than a springers face? I don’t think so! Had to get her a pup cup. First time either one of us have been to Starbucks, but after almost 2100$ in vet bills (thanks pets best for nothing) I think she deserved it. My soul dog is 100% back in action. I don’t know who’s more happy her or I. To hell with the bills, I’ll figure those out. My girl is BACK! No more sleeping on the floor, we can sleep in our own bed now. I put an old mattress on the floor because she couldn’t jump until cleared.

First ever tomato plant!

Got this plant for free a month or so ago. Now it’s really growing! Hoping to get at least a couple tomatoes before it turns cold!

Staying on my CR for another 10 years?

Was a loan through GoodLeap for some septic tank repairs I needed back in April 2024. It was a 15 year loan, I knew it wouldn’t take that long for me to pay off, but I wanted the lowest possible payments at the time. 3 days prior to the loan being taken out I was in a bad car crash and my car (purchased 4 months prior to the crash) was totaled. Was short on cash, so I took this loan to get my septic tank fixed. Anyway, I paid it off earlier this year. Am I reading this correctly that it’s going to stay on my CR for 10 more years?

Does the engine (21 cx5 n/a) actually turn off cylinders? So in the pic none of the cylinders are firing? I’m assuming the engine is still spinning from the tq converter? How does the Mazda cylinder deactivation actually work? I’m sure it kills spark, but what does it do with the valves?

I’m 50, and this is my very first tomato plant! Yay me! This weekend I’ll go get a bucket, some potting soil, a cage, and then see what happens!
