A parent has alleged that his daughter, who was among the top 11/120, withdrew her JBIMS admission within just 4 days because of the induction. According to his post, seniors were allegedly handling the induction, students were kept on campus for 16+ hours with phones off and strict washroom restrictions, freshers were sent to Colaba twice for shoes, one student was made to shave twice and allegedly came back with a bruised face, and students had two sleepless nights with assignments till 4 AM. He also claims that even girls on their periods were restricted from using washrooms and that some faculty called this “usual, old school” behaviour.

If this is actually how the induction is conducted, then wtf 💀

Saw this post on Instagram and honestly the details in it are pretty disturbing. The person is claiming that during the 15 day induction at FMS Delhi, 200+ students were allegedly made to stay in one hall for around 12 hours a day, there were reportedly students being shouted at in shifts, one night they were allegedly kept there till morning without sleep and even after classes started there were supposedly hours of coursework followed by more shouting. The post also talks about students being given late night tasks with just 3-6 hours to complete them and getting as little as 4 hours of sleep, along with being called things like “stupid” and “worthless” and allegedly being given violations that could affect their placement process. What actually shocked me more was seeing people in the comments defending this saying this is how you prepare someone for the corporate world. But is this really how we are supposed to prepare people for corporate life? How does constantly shouting at students, humiliating them or deliberately cutting their sleep make them better professionals? And genuinely what is happening with B-schools these days, every other day I see something related to harassment or ragging and people somehow still justify it as “part of the process”. Is this why the fees are so low or what 😭 Obviously this is an anonymous and unverified account and I don't know how much of it is actually true, but if even half of these claims are true, this seriously needs to be talked about

I have wavy frizzy and thin hair and I really want to take better care of it. Came across this post from an IIM Kozhikode student who says what started as asking a senior for guidance turned into repeated sexual harassment, inappropriate comments and pressure for a sexual relationship while also alleging he used his influential connections to intimidate her According to her she wasn't the only victim and several other women shared similar experiences If these allegations are true they raise serious questions about student safety, accountability and whether top B-schools are doing enough to protect students
