We were robbed of a playoff series between LeBron James vs Dwyane Wade

I didn’t realize how close they were to meeting up against each other in the postseason multiple times. People usually bring up Kobe vs LeBron never matching up since they were in separate conferences but not Wade.

2005: 42-40 Cavs lost the tiebreaker for the 8th seed, where he could’ve matched up to the 59-23 1 seed Miami Heat in Bron’s first playoff series

2006: LeBron was a game 7 away from reaching the conference finals vs eventual champs Heat, who instead faced the Detroit Pistons

2009: The Heat bounce back to playoff contention and are a game 7 away from matching up against the 66 win Cavs in the second round during (arguably) both of LeBron and Wade’s best seasons. Cavs ended up sweeping the Hawks

2010: Not as close as the others but DWade and the Heat lost in 5 to Boston, who then eliminated LeBron’s Cavs in the next round.

2016: Bosh-less Miami Heat were a game 7 away from being in the conference finals vs eventual champs Cavs, who had gotten LeBron back after 4 years in Miami. But Raptors blew them out and lost in 6 to Cleveland

The Wizards have rostered the 2 players drafted over Luka Doncic and the player traded for Luka Doncic in a year span

Wizards trade for Marvin Bagley, who was selected 2 in the 2018 nba draft, in 2024 before trading him to memphis for Marcus Smart. They then re-signed him for a 1 year deal.

Afterwards they included him and Khris Middleton in a trade for 10x All Star Anthony Davis from Dallas Mavericks. AD was originally traded for Luka a year prior from the Los Angeles Lakers

In Luka’s first full year with LA, his starting center per request was Deandre Ayton who was selected number 1 of the 2018 NBA Draft. He was now moved for Jaden Hardy and picks to be the new backup big for the Washington Wizards
