Strategies for monetizing personal expertise in a niche hobby

I've been seriously into restoring vintage electronics for about 15 years now and I've built up a pretty solid set of skills and knowledge. I have a lot of specialized tools and a dedicated workspace. I'm wondering if anyone here has successfully turned a really niche hobby like this into some passive income. I've thought about maybe creating some online courses or perhaps selling restoration guides. What are your thoughts on this approach?

The weirdest thing I was asked to do for NPs

Okay fellow nannies what's the most unusual request your employers have ever given you. Mine just happened and I cant stop thinking about it.

MB asked me yesterday if I could come in on Saturday for two hours. I usually dont work weekends. But they were really in a bind so I said sure. She then tells me it's not to nanny but to help them move their pet snake into a new terrarium. I thought she was joking. She was not.

Apparently it's a two person job because the snake is really big. I dont even like snakes! But I felt obligated after saying yes to helping them. So this Saturday I'll be wrestling a python or something while the kids are at grandma's.

Tell me your wildest stories. Please make me feel less weird about this.

35 F Seeking fellow enthusiasts of the arcane and unusual

Hey there! I'm a 35 F and I've always been drawn to things a little out of the ordinary.

I'm talking about things like cryptozoology ancient civilizations unexplained phenomena folklore urban legends and conspiracy theories that actually make you think. I love digging into rabbit holes and sharing weird facts.

My ideal evening involves a documentary about Bigfoot or aliens a good cup of tea and maybe a discussion about ley lines or lost cities.

If you're also fascinated by the strange and wonderful come say hi! I'd love to chat about all things mysterious.

i just want to sleep forever

I’m so tired. Not just physically tired but soul tired. Bone tired. Every single day feels like an uphill battle that I don’t have the energy to fight anymore. I just want to close my eyes and not wake up. Not in a dramatic way I just want peace. I just want the constant noise in my head to stop. The endless cycle of disappointment and dread. I fantasize about just sleeping until it all goes away. No responsibilities no expectations no pain. Just quiet. It feels like the only escape.
