We helped them in their moment of need. Nearly 25 years later, they threaten our sovereignty.

I feel like this is something a lot of Americans forget about. Our aid to the United States on September 11th. Unfortunately, now America finds itself in a power struggle.

The North Tower, pictures from the 1980s

I feel like few images exist of just a single tower on its own and from the 80s, so I went looking and huzzah, I found some! Links for them can be found in the images.

Just finished Lantern (S3 finale) and here are my thoughts about Chuck.

I feel like I should start off with what is fundamentally the core premise of the episode and that is Chuck's downward spiral. As he is following his 'retirement' from HHM, I cannot help but feel like this was somewhat deserved? Not his death, I mean, rather his bootkicking from HHM.

He worked at the firm for many, many years and devoted a large portion of his life directly to it, yes, but the dynamic between him and his brother, James.. well, it painted a sour image of my mind of Chuck.

His electromagnetic hypersensitivity as he calls it was a very defining part about his character. As someone with a condition which is also rare, I know what it can be like when doctors or nurses don't understand your needs and put more emphasis on order and procedure. Chuck, as seen in earlier episodes had been threatened with being sent away from his home at the hospital, much to the dismay of James.

However, during the confrontation he faces in S3E5 (Chicanery), it is evident that the events of it and the damaged reputation to HHM were significant factors to his ultimate demise at the finale of the season.

It was a sad scene to see, but overall from these short thoughts, I'd say I enjoyed it even more than the finale of season 3 in Breaking Bad. But that's just opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

What about you, what'd you think?

CN Tower and Downtown Toronto condo buildings

I've always found it insane to think how many people live in Toronto. It's a huge city, and getting views from the highway of these huge towers shows you the population of the city.
