Has anyone use these on any mp5sd or clone variants? Watched a video on YouTube they seem amazing.. install probably going to be a pain though..

It is my understanding to run 500 rds of full power (124gr or better) before charging out parts. I understand this is for internal break in, smooth tooling marks, and if there is a problem warranty it out they’ll ask about the break in. I have the ap5-p and ap5-sd. Do the switching out parts extend to the butt stocks or can you change that out prior to break in? I don’t see an issue internally with it but could be missing something..
Also with these break in when do the issues usually show up? Is it early on or late, or is it random every time depending on the failure and part? TIA!
I bought a ap5-p as soon as i got it i started buying parts.. buttstock, rail, AS Design trigger, locking piece, sight and riser.. i haven’t even taken it out of the box to clean it yet. Also will add haven’t installed anything yet im going to run it through the break in prior to switching out everything..
Now that was roughly a month ago, and just bought a ap5-sd.. this is an addiction now.. haven’t even shot the first one bought another one
I really can’t make a choice who to r5 next.. three r5 two cosmic one mutant.. r4 so much potential.. and my r3 are right behind them.. i can r5 spidey parv.. first mystic but then who.. or madlyn, kushala… ruby is a nasty dual threat.. onslaught but then that’s another mutant.. sandman, yondu.. no idea how to play this.. (r4 stop at lumatrix).. almost all of them are max sig.. I’ve been sitting on awaken gems for months, sig stones for longer.. like wtf.. all content is 100% only thing i struggle with is stupid BG..

Am i the only one that buys accessories (grips, hand stops, lights, rail scales/ covers, optics, sights, slings) try’s them out at the range and then doesn’t like how they feel/work so now there’s a collection or random parts and accessories? Or doesn’t everyone automatically know what they want first time or force themselves to like it after they buy it?
Ive done some reach on this and found that you can unscrew these faux suppressor, and they have standard 1/2x28 threads.. it also will accept some suppressors naturally because the handguard is 1.71” however i have a wolfman and the OD of that is 1.61”. It has been noted that there may be some issue with the tight fit. Also the charging handle may be an issue when you reinstall it..

I know the store offers a military discount, but online doesn’t. However, i don’t think the store will price match online but i could be wrong.. if they do price match can you still get the military discount? I was told by palmetto employee the reason online doesn’t give the discount is because they cannot verify status.. can anyone verify?
When did the burn proof covers go up to $225 per cover? Last year they were $150 per.. going up 50% in a year is ridiculous.. i normally get liberty defense covers, are there any other goods one that are low budget for a PCC not hard use weapons?
Have they fixed the issues with these two rifles? With the sbr being free i was thinking about getting one finally but if the issues haven’t been resolved i’ll hold off
I just picked up a AP5-5, very excited about it.. bought a AS designs trigger pack, and B&T buttstock.. i haven’t even taking the AP5-P out of the case yet..
My question is since it’s hit or miss with the internals it seems and people are swapping them out with real HK parts and they run smoother is it worth it to just buy this

They have cheaper ones on there but it’s MKE which would be the same manufacture as the century in the first place..
i can roll the dice and have zero issues.. but I’m always the guy that has spare parts and if it’s a common failure i wouldn’t mind having a spare around JIC.. but i don’t know much about these systems.. not sure if it’s common to fail or just bad manufacturing on that part.. so any insight?

Anyone have the quantum irons? Either the max or OS or max fast? If you do what are your thoughts on them?
I currently have the ai smoke HL and haven’t really thought about upgrading them at all. Went into a local golf store the other day and was talking to one of the guys there and he was telling me Callaway made a huge leap in technology with the quantum’s for game improvement irons.. the sole is better and face is much more forgiving than previous years..
I know lower handicap golfer rarely see much improvement with newer technology but higher handicaps see the most significant difference in the upgrades..
Anyone have any experience testing these out positive or negative feedback?
