Azhag the Slaughterer (7th ed, metal) and his 'eadhunters join the Waaagh!

Finished just in time for a hobby competition. Azhag on Skullmuncha, with a big boss, river troll and some converted arrerboyz. The big boss used the 40k runtherd as a base model, while the river troll is a rescue model that needed a new head and weapon. The Arrerboyz use parts from both Orc and Orc Boyz. Their bows are from the savage boyz kit.

ADD 72 Carrion Crawler, aka Night Goblin Baggage train.

After months of eBay hunting, I finally got enough pieces for my carrion crawler. The next step is getting some paint on the beast.

Orc Raiders ready to pillage your village!

It was a bit of a rushed paint job, but I'm still happy with the overall outcome. First time trying my hand at fire. And finally got a use for my burned tufts.

More Orcs (and a handful of goblins) for the WAAAGH! The Broken Tooth Tribe keeps on growing.

Another month is over which of course means another batch of greenskins painted. This time its the heavy hitters. Black Orcs and Big'Uns. Plus a bunch of characters. Was a lot of fun to paint. Especially trying out pigment powders for basing. Wish I had done it earlier. Next are a bunch of orc raiders and an Azhag.

With these, the Black Spider Tribe is complete. Group pic at the end.

Was a very busy month. But I am happy I managed to finish all my spiders. The Arachnaroks, especially, were a lot of fun to paint. Also, the C29 Giant Scorpion makes for a great spider boss mount. The regular bosses are cool, too, and I hope they make a return one day. Lastly, while I doubt I will ever become a big fan of the Spider Riders, I am glad I got them all finished. Painted them as Drakwald Mancatchers (blue), Tilean Greybacks (yellow), Widowmakers of Naggaroth (purple) & Scarlet Deathheads (red).

Started in November 2023. Been working on the army ever since, a little every day. And while I have all kinds of greenskins and friends, Night Goblins remain my favourite. I am aiming to complete the army by the end of the year. Plenty of spiders, orcs, trolls and giants to come.
