Hi, I’m writing a story based on the mythology of Lucifer’s fall from Heaven and need more angel-sounding names that aren’t names of real angels

What the title says.
There are supposed to be 12 fallen angels or more in my story. Searching up names was hair-tearing, it was very hard to gather angelic names. More suggestions would be helpful.

I had to look up multiple sources for names, and I didn’t want these names to be names of actual angels because some of these fallen angels are fictional. I want these names to be angelic-sounding as if they could be names of angels.
I couldn’t find the exact number of angels that fell, so I just gave up and went with my own interpretation of the story.

I have some names that I wanted opinions on, this took SO MUCH searching: Malthael, Zerael, Lauriel, Astrophel, Xaphania

Okay, I’ll bite: Fellow Christian systems (or at least Catholics), what do you believe in? (More below)

Hi, I am a Hellenic Polytheist, and we have a mate who’s a Catholic girl, and I was wondering if any of you can answer my questions regarding beliefs in Christianity or at least Catholicism:

- What do you believe in? (Ex: Mary, Trinity, Pope, Saints, etc)

- Are saints moreso a Catholic-exclusive thing?

- Do other denominations believe in Mother Mary?

- Why do other Christians think Catholics praying to Mary and the Saints is Idolatry or Polytheism?

- Can a Catholic not believe in the Pope? Is that possible?

I asked her if she believed in the Pope, but she said she didn’t because she doesn’t believe anyone else can be her God but God directly.
I searched it up, and I didn’t know what she was on about. So…. Well, I mean she’s not Roman Catholic but still Catholic.

Maybe she interpreted the question literally because I know the Pope isn’t LITERALLY God Himself.
If someone were to ask her if she was Roman Catholic, she’d probably be like, “Just.. Catholic”

I can imagine someone going “Omg you don’t believe in the Pope?! You’re a fake Catholic!”

Can Any Religious Systems Help Us Out? (more below)

Okay, so I am a Hellenic Polytheist, and one of our mates is Catholic, and I used to be Atheistic.
Becoming a Polytheist switched something in me because I used to be very angry at religion, but now I’m not angry as I used to be.

I was wondering if there were any system-friendly or any religious systems out there, specifically systems with Catholic and Hellenic Polytheistic mates because I wanted to not only respect her, but also make her feel seen and heard.
Even if they’re just content creators or whatnot.

I was also wondering how you navigate with different beliefs. We have two atheists that respect us and one of them loves learning about our religions.

Basically the four of us read the bible with her, and we’re still in the beginning. Our plan was to read it through with her and then she can read it again on her own time. I also wanted to buy a rosary for her.
She considers herself a daughter of Christ and loves him a lot which isn’t weird, I just don’t care.

How do fandom communities treat systems? Do you care about “appealing to non-systems”?

Title.
Some of us have heard that non-systems will react very badly to systems, especially introjects because they think that the alter/headmate identifies as the character or person when they don’t.

I asked my other mates how they would feel if people treated them as if they were the character, and many of them said they would be VERY UNCOMFORTABLE with it because they don’t identify AS the character, they just have CHARACTERISTICS of that character/person.

The potential reactions of non-systems are why I (guilty to admit this) tried to force them to change their names and even told them to change their appearances to which one of my mates told me that I can’t break down their identities because their appearances are important to them, that they’d feel lost.

One of them asked me why “I was trying to appeal to the singlets” since I was embarrassed of them being introjects.

At some point, I got mad and blamed them for the reason why non-systems don’t understand us. She told me again that it didn’t matter because “there are still going to be people that will never understand, whether it’s us or not”

(🍎) Hi it’s one of the mates he mentioned above. I think the whole reason why he’s so mad is because he can’t fathom people not understanding anything in relation to being a system.
Of course, we hate the idea of being labeled as liars when we’re not. If it’s of any importance, he’s our persecutor. He has really strong opinions, so he gets upset at the possibility of people not understanding.

Question: Does AITA allow posts by other systems or no?

I’ve seen post by singletons ABOUT systems, but not BY systems about their other alters/mates.

Is it allowed? Would other people know what we’re talking about?
It could just be as simple as “I did something that my other mates didn’t like, but I felt I wasn’t in the wrong. Am I right or not?”

Are those posts allowed, and do people treat them the same way they treat posts by singletons?
I’m just wondering because many subs have VERY different rules, including VERY STRICT-like guidelines or something.

What sort of things do you create folders or groups for?

Title question. We create folders for age/age range, gender, roles, headmate type (introject, non-intro), etc.

Looking for more specific things to create folders for.

What do you think about alter egos? (My experience)

Sorry, I didn’t know what to tag this as. Yes, there’s a question, but I wanted to share something that I thought when I was younger.

I was thinking about this because I was looking for any “signs” that I could’ve been a system but not know it at the time. I don’t really know if there were any signs because they were kept hidden.

Anyways I thought this was interesting.

When I was younger, I made up a male character who had a female alter ego.
The way I went about describing this, I was like, “oh, they share one body, but they are basically like two separate people, two separate identities, and they each have their own personalities. They think of themselves as two completely separate people, and they just happen to share a body. BUT they are not alters.”

Yeah, I also thought of the character and his alter ego taking turns and being themselves. The male character would dress boyishly as himself, and the female one would dress very feminine. They would have their own clothes and stuff that they both liked.
I was like, “yeah they take turns being themselves, BUT THEY ARE NOT ALTERS. This is COMPLETELY different.”

I was like, “YES, they think themselves to be two separate identities, and they share a body, yeah they have two different personalities and different consciousness, BUT they are ALTER EGOS, NOT ALTERS. THERE IS A COMPLETE DIFFERENCE.”

Looking back now, the way I described alter egos was.. VERY interesting because I was very ADAMANT that my description of an alter ego was WAY different than that of an alter. What was I thinking.

Now that I’m part of a system, i guess this wasn’t really a sign. I was just into interesting ideas.

What do you guys think about PluralLog compared to other apps?

PluralLog is the first app we’ve used, and we didn’t use SP. We’ve never heard of SP until recently a few months ago.

PL is very easy to use for us, and ever since the new updated released in May we’ve been using it ever since and it’s gotten very easy to make profiles, folders, log switches, etc.

What do you think about the term “Alter”? And how do you know it was outdated?

We use the term headmate and system member to refer to ourselves because we’ve found the word “Alter” to be in a medical context like DID.

We’ve seen/read that other systems use the word “Alter”, so we thought it had been common use, but then I later found that some people thought “Alter” was an outdated term and they didn’t like the word.

So I was wondering why some systems still used the word. We didn’t know it was outdated.

I have literal thinking, and when I read somewhere that Alter meant “Alternative state of consciousness” I think I interpreted the meaning of the word to literally describe the word, as in “Oh, this word is X because it means Y” stuff like that. Like literal interpretation, that’s what I meant.

Sorry if this doesn’t make sense, I can’t phrase things correctly because it already makes sense to me, and I just assume people can understand.

What do you use custom fields for?

We use fields for basic additional information such as likes, dislikes, age, etc.
I haven’t customized them at all, so they’re just plain. I was wondering what custom fields are typically used for.

How do you set up templates? LOOKING FOR HOW TO ORGANIZE PROFILE INFORMATION

This is the example profile template I just made. I just listed out basic specifics in the profile, but before that I had created a bunch of custom fields for specifics like “likes, dislikes, nicknames” etc

How do you guys set up your profile information? I guess I’m just looking for ideas so I can make templates for newer members to fill out.

Do you guys prefer everything inside the profile or fields?

Why do people think BPD has alters/headmates and is a dissociative disorder? (*Lengthy*)

NOTE: I am very sorry if I come across as condescending or mean. I’m posting this in the morning because my thoughts are scrambled and I need to get this question out there.

NOTE: Okay, I just remembered that I struggle with literal thinking when I had finished writing this. I might’ve interpreted the claims literally than they could’ve been, so I had assumed literally. I also had interpreted literally that you must meet everything on the criteria to qualify for diagnosis.
So I’m very sorry about this. My question still remains. My headmate is waiting quietly as I write this.

If BPD had alters, wouldn’t it be a dissociative disorder instead?
On TT, I kept hearing this claim that “BPD has alters” which was surprising to me because when I went to get an evaluation for BPD, I was COMPLETELY unaware of being a system at that time. I didn’t even KNOW I was a system.

They didn’t even mention dissociation or alters at my feedback meeting, they mentioned the 9 symptoms but they didn’t mention alters. They talked to me about the paranoia, but that was it.

This reminded me of the “BPD is a dissociative disorder” claim that I had heard on there.
I have also heard “Splitting in BPD is a lot like splitting a new alter” or “In BPD, you can dissociate so much to the point you can develop a new personality”

As someone who went to get evaluated for BPD and is now part of a system months later from stuff unrelated to the BPD: 👁️👄👁️ um… so this is awkward…
(I have never dissociated BECAUSE of BPD, it was usually due to something else)

I don’t know how to feel because this is the first time I’m hearing this. If BPD had alters, wouldn’t it be mentioned in the criteria and also be moved to the dissociative disorder category.

UPDATE: Ok, I flipped through my copy, and it also states for the 9th symptom: “transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms”

I’m confused now because my evaluators didn’t mention anything else about dissociative symptoms even though it is written directly in the criteria. It says <severe> though, so I don’t know if that warrants anything else.

Can someone please tell us the things that Michelle Mana has said and why she’s bad??

I didn’t know what to tag this as I’m new here. This is gonna be lengthy.

I would see Mana’s videos pop up on our feed and they’ll be videos about DID faking. I did not watch the video, I just assumed she was a system as well as other creators who had DID or just multiplicity. I had a feeling about her, that was why I didn’t watch her videos before.

It was news to me, and IMAGINE my surprise when I come across a post on here about Mana and finding out SHE’S NOT A SYSTEM. Then I was wondering “why was she making videos on DID faking when she’s not a system??”

I thought only people with their disorders could make those types of awareness content about faking. BUT A NON-SYSTEM??

I went down a rabbit hole, partially watched like 2 of her videos on systems, and oh boy were we almost losing our patience. One video she was like, “aren’t diagnostic papers like multiple pages in length?? showing one slip of paper stating your diagnosis doesn’t verify anything” and it triggered me.
I have a BPD evaluation report that’s like 20 pages, and it’s only been emailed to me as I didn’t get the physical copy, but it’s still an emailed report. I have yet to print it out.

Can anyone PLEASE tell me all the things Mana has said about systems or just about any diagnosis in general?? What are all the harmful things she said, and why is she bad now?

Do you change the names of fictive headmates because of non-plural people’s assumptions?

We have multiple fictives. I mentioned in my previous post that we have a DDLC fictive named Nat who loves DDLC, it’s like her happy trigger. We also have a headmate named Sayori, but she’s not a fictive. She’s more of a cosplayer, and she just looks like Sayori.

While I was thinking about the previous post I made, I felt ashamed at the thought that singlets will assume and react very negatively to headmates that are introjects.

I had thought of wanting Sayori to change her name to something else, but she came in and said that she loved her name.
I thought of a compromise, a “temporary nickname”, where she can still keep her name for us, we can still call her that, while she is called something else for singlets that don’t know any better.

Then I realized we have a Monika fictive who absolutely loves her name and will fight tooth and nail to let herself keep it. The others also like their names, and I asked Denji if he wanted to change his, but he said no.

I’m not ashamed or embarrassed by them or the fact they want to keep their names. Half the time they don’t think they’re fictives, so they joke whenever they see a certain character and say “that’s me” because humor.
We have a headmate, Octavian, that likes to roleplay as the character because why not.

A asked me how I would like it if someone asked me to change my name (Nico as a nickname) when I didn’t want to. I feel bad enough to think about forcing them to change their names.

OKAY, EVERYONE WILL KEEP THEIR NAMES. WE’RE JUST GOING TO COME UP WITH TEMPORARY NICKNAMES FOR SINGLETS. WE WILL NOT USE THESE NICKNAMES WHEN WE INTERACT WITH OTHER SYSTEMS.

Wanted to post about a fictive in related community but post got removed (were we not supposed to do that?)

We have this DDLC fictive named Nat, and she loves DDLC. It’s like her happy trigger, and every time she sees like DDLC content or just cosplays she comes to co-front.

Anyways on a similar topic, I reposted a DDLC fictive AMA post (from our Monika fictive) to the DDLC community some months ago, but it got removed after hours of waiting for comments.

I was curious and wanted to see if other communities were curious about fictives or plurality in general, especially a DDLC fictive to the DDLC community.

I had since then removed the post/repost. I guess I learned from my curiosity (not doing that again)

Do they not like cross posts from different communities? I don’t even cross post or repost, still trying to figure out how it works here.

Does Plural Log have a discord server too? Where to find updates on the app?

Hi, we have been using Plural Log as of recently. It’s very easy to use as it’s the first and only system app we got.

I was wondering if there was a discord server for the app since I saw some comments saying that they’re still in development and are making changes. Besides from the App Store reviews, all I know is that they came out with an updated version.
